| This is a really decent punk rock compilation. Pretty much every song is good, top to bottom. It is cool to see some Northwest bands and some hard-to-find old school outfits from 80s such as DFL (my favorite band) and Poison Idea. This is a good mixture of music and a must buy for punk rock aficionados. Not many better compilations out there! |

| I bought this one about 10 min after i had bought Vol. 6 sence i was driving from one record store to another. This one is pretty good, but saddly its kind of a tease today, seeing as many of the tracks are from albums that went out of print years ago. This one is probably one of the best out of the 10 Punk-O-Rama compilations so far. The only two that i would rate better would be vol. 1, and the somewhat rare and un heard of Vol. 2.1, which was a special deal at the 97 warped tour(looks the same only the moster on the cover is skateboarding, not urinating on a wall, and it has the Wapred Tour logos) 2.1 featured a slightly modified track list with stronger tracks from SNFU, Down By Law and Pennywise. Its worth the money youll spend if you ever see a copy in the used cd bin. Anyway, Punk-O-Rama 2 is a pretty good collection of punk from the 90s as well as the two 80s hardcore bands Poison Idea and DFL. If you want to sample a pretty broad spectum that is punk music, this is a good place to start, as it gives you not only some of today's vetran bands' older material, but some seriously old scool stuff too. also some of these tracks arent for those turned off by questionable subject matter...Namely the one TSOL track |

It was 1996, I was young and pissed off, had problems with school, parents and girlfriends. This CD came right on time. The Offspring's Smash brought the Epitaph name to my attention, so I saw this for 10 Guilders (Yes, guilders...damn the euro)and picked it up. I was not dissapointed. It was angry, loud and fast. Descendents, NOFX, Pennywise, Bad Religion.. Loved it.
This cd just belongs in 1996. It couldnt be released again today. It was in the height of the second punk explosion. Punk is dead now again. I don't listen to any more new Epitaph releases, they just all plain suck. Even NOFX doesn't put out decent records anymore. So that's why I started to look elsewhere and found it in garage bands like Kings of Leon. But sometimes I get nostalgic and give Punk O rama a spin once more, and remember times past.... ahhhh. |

| The Punk o Rama series isn't ever one to disappoint, and this proves it. The second disc in the series, it's definatly the best. most well planned mixes out there. Why do I love this mix so much. I like it because it features two of my favorite songs "Perfect People" by Pennywise and "Code Blue" by TSOL. The album begins with the 34-second speed demon "Coffee Mug" by the legendary band The Descendents. Then it goes into an amazing group of songs from well knowns like NOFX, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, Pennywise, TSOL, Rancid, and Bad Religion, but also features such unknowns as Poison Idea, Dead F**king Last (DFL), and SNFU. So pick up this album now. It's a classic. |

| I find this compilation the best in the PunkORama series, with PunkOrama #3 coming in close on number two. It's got some great songs and not only those from (then) more recent records, it's even got some oldies! The best songs on this comp. are IMHO those by The Descendents, Pennywise, Down By Law and Bad Religion. It's got some bad stuff, Joy Killer being the best example of this. Eew. That sux. For the rest it's great but onyl four stars since I hate compilations. |

I have yet to own Punkorama 1 (becuase frankly I refuse to pay full price for CD's) but I own every other Punkorama and this is my favorite. Any CD that starts with Descendents, Pennywise, and Pulley deserves recognition. ("Perfect People" is a great song by the way. It was one of the first few Pennywise songs I heard when I got into punk.) "Side Kick" is just plain funny. Rancid is always great. I have no shame in singing "Only the Good Die Young" [Me First and the Gimme Gimmes] at the top of my lungs at the Jersey Shore in October. After the few starting tracks what really got me addicted to this CD was the hilarious "Code Blue" [TSOL] which led into "Whatever Didi Wants" [not great but pretty good- Nofx] and then "Gruesome Gary" [Down by Law] which I absolutely loved. Yum. (Incidentally this thing disables HTML. Why does it hate me?) |

| I have all the Punk-O-Rama CDs except for Vol. 1 and Vol. 6. This by FAR is the worst one. When I first looked at the songs I already had a bad impression. I mean where's the Ten Foot Pole??! What about H20 or Agnostic Front. Those are great bands. And what's this: The Humpers, Voodoo Glow Skulls, and New Bomb Turks instead!!! However, I came to the conclusion that it IS punk-o-rama so Epitaph must no what they are doing. Well they didn't. On the other Punk-o-rama CDs the only songs they put on it were always one of the best songs by each of the bands. They did not do that. I now have 24 different recordings of Bad Religion. Give you nothing is by FAR the worst one, but for some reason they chose that song. Bad religion normally blows you away with every song, but this one wasn't anything special. IT is making people think that Bad Religion aren't half as good as they are. Punk-O-Rama is supposed to be promoting Epitaph bands not making them look bad!! The NOFX song was off of the Heavy Petting Zoo. WHy the h*ll are they wasting there time with that album. There is nothing good in that album and it doesn't even sound like NOFX. I don't have any Pennywise CDs yet. However, I have heard at least 6 songs by them and this song is the worst one. And that song just happens to be the best song on the CD. Think about that, one of Pennywise worst songs is the best song on the CD! Not to mention on the other Punk-o-Ramas The bad Religion and NOFX songs are usually better! That really says something about how much better the other Punk-o-ramas are. So take my advise. Buy the other Punk-O-Rama CDs. Skip this one. Definitely don't buy this as your first one. I highly recommend Volumes 4 and 5. |

| I have Punk-O-Rama Volume 2 to thank for the entire fact that I listen to punk now. My brother picked it up at Hastings and once we got home, it never left the CD player. There are NO BAD SONGS on this compilation. The worst one (Thought Control by DFL) is still pretty damn good. The best song is hard to pick, but it is probably Jukebox Lean by The New Bomb Turks. So if you dont listen to punk YET, pick this CD up, its cheap, and I garuntee by the time your finished listening to it you will be a punk fan. |
