I knew this was great before I purchased it; I'm just glad to get the complete series, short though it is, in one shot. I'm introducing my 13-year-old to English humor and might as well start with the best of the best. Well worth the money.

Really enjoy seeing these episodes again, uncut and with all of them available. Although we've (in our household) loved Fawlty Towers from the first time we saw it on PBS years ago, we don't remember seeing the first season until now. Thoroughly enjoying this DVD set. Highly recommend. John Cleese is absolutely hilarious, and the rest of the cast is superb also.

Sadly, discs 1 and 2, although labeled as different discs, had the same episodes on them. As a result, many of the promised episodes were missing. This was not the vendors fault since the discs themselves were clearly labeled as "1" and "2", but an error on the part of the BBC production department.

If you like British humor, you'll LOVE this sreies. John Cleese is remarkably hilarious....as he always is. I recommend this to anybody who needs a good laugh. Guareteed not to disappoint!!

Always a fan of John Cleese, this short series does not fail to provide hours of fun. An excellent cast who work off each other like a finely tuned machine. Even my wife who doesn't watch a lot of TV loves the show. You will not be disappointed.

This is the perfect set. It has all the episodes as aired.
It also has extras such as outtakes, interviews and I believe voice-overs on sound track 2 from the producers/directors. You will NOT be disappointed with this set.

As with The thin Blue line there is only 12 episodes, but I would rather have 12 great episodes like these, than more episodes that are hit and miss. I can watch them over and over --- and I do!
