I am a few years older than Stephen King. I have read (to the best of my knowledge) all of his works. The teleplay for The Stand was done by Stephen King...and you can tell it.
A truly superior work.

The Stand by Stephen King. I feel this is one of his all time better works. The cast of actors were perfectly fitted to the characters in the film. The stage sets and costumes spared no expense during the making of this movie as everything appeared so realistic without any noticed mistakes or oversights to ruin the film.

Apparently a lot of time and effort went into the making of this film so it would turn out as perfect as it is. I'm a big fan of Stephen King's work, and this film sores to the top of that list.

This film is a 1994 miniseries that runs 366 minutes in length. I own this title on DVD, and I'm not letting it go at any time in the future. This will be in my collection for a very very long time, if not forever.

I understand this title is getting more and more difficult to buy. If you're lucky enough to buy this title, trust me, ... it's worth hanging on to. This is a must see movie. I highly recommend it. Great for collectors too.

Thanks so much for sending a perfect product. This was a birthday gift for my boyfriend who watched the entire movie yesterday, with no skipping. Even new DVDs we buy occasionally skip, that's just how perfect this was :). Haha..thanks again!!!
