I consider this product to be very good. You always get a good laugh when watching the Beverly Hillbillies! I would recommend its purchase as it is a classic.

This budget DVD from Brentwood includes 10 classic episodes from THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES, Paul Henning's sitcom about an Ozark family which hits oil and moves to California. Proud patriarch Jed Clampett (Buddy Ebsen), his daughter Elly Mae (Donna Douglas), cantankerous Granny (Irene Ryan) and slow-witted cousin Jethro (Max Baer Jr.) discover a whole new life, in the land of "swimming pools, movie stars". These episodes are Public Domain and sadly don't feature the memorable theme song (which is under copyright), however the episodes featured here are a delight. Including:
"Elly's Animals" - Jed and Granny decide to curtail Elly Mae's extensive collection of critters.
"Jed Plays Solomon" - Granny's plan to stop Cousin Pearl (Bea Benaderet) giving yodelling lessons backfires when the police uncover Granny's still.
"Duke Steals a Wife" - The Clampett's ornery old bloodhound Duke begins to court the fancy poodle of neighbour Mademoiselle Denise.
"Jed Buys the Freeway" - Jed is almost taken in by a shifty confidence trickster who compells him to buy the Hollywood Bowl, Griffith Park and the Freeway.
"Jed Becomes a Banker" - To compete in a skeet shoot competition, Jed becomes a banker.
"The Family Tree" - An historian traces Jed's family back further than the Mayflower settlers.
"Jed Pays His Income Tax" - The Clampetts get off on the wrong foot with the Government when Granny chases an IRS agent with her shotgun.
"The Clampetts Are Overdrawn" - Thanks to a case of mixed-up bank statements, Jed thinks he has lost all his money, and an unemployed actor called Jake Clampett gets an unexpected windfall.
"The Giant Jack Rabbit" - An escaped kangaroo settles in the Clampetts' backyard, which Granny mistakes for a jackrabbit. She decides to stew the animal up for supper...that is, if she can catch it!
"The Clampetts and Dodgers" - Jethro joins the baseball team when the coach becomes impressed with the boy's pitching arm.
I read a previous review and thought this contained 10 new episodes. It was exactly the same as Volume 1, just in a different order. It doesn't say Volume 2 on the disc case and isn't the same picture as shown in Amazon. Maybe Volume 2 really is what I wanted. But what I received was definitely disappointing. I went to order it again, thinking I just ordered the wrong DVD, but it said I already purchased Volume 2. Maybe Best Buy has the whole set.
