This is the first AC/DC album which was released also in USA. This is actually "a compilation" os two first AC/DC albums "High Voltage" and "T.N.T.". It is probably the rawest AC/DC album you can ever hear. The tracks "T.N.T.", "High Voltage" and "The Jack" can still be found in AC/DC's setlist. I like the panpies in the opening track. Many of the tracks are still classics but the songs like "Little Lover" and "She's Got Balls" are terrible. I don't wanna think balls when I am thinking of girls. I don't wanna imagine girls with balls. Yak! Still, often unfamous AC/DC albums which has its moments. This is the album that still has Bon Scott singing.

This album was the start of the Bon Scott era of AC/DC and what a start it is. We don't get amazing debuts like this anymore, this is truly an album for the ages. The music is so good it could have been released anytime and even released now and be a total hit. The tunder from down under!

What can I say? Ever since I was a kid I loved this album. TNT, High Voltage, Long Way to The Top. Masterpiece, just like just about all their albums.

This was AC/DC's first American release, cobbling together tracks from their early Australian releases to form "High Voltage." "It's A Long Way To The Top (If You Wanna Rock 'n' Roll)" & "Rock 'N' Roll Singer" lead off the album and are two of the best tracks AC/DC has ever recorded. Actually, two of the best rock 'n' roll songs ever recorded. I find "The Jack" and "She's Got Balls" highly annoying but the rest of the songs are solid and AC/DC's 3-chord attack is one of the best that rock music has ever seen. End of story!

This is by far THE best album by AC/DC in the earlier days of their not-yet-famous popularity. As good as Highway To Hell was, I think this one is better. It is more raw and has more catchy tunes than HTH. If you want a great album with the Bon Scott era, you can't go wrong with their first release in the USA. All songs are good, but stand-outs are title cut, It's a Long Way to the Top, Live Wire, and T.N.T. You won't be disappointed. Bon Scott was the flame that led to the band's break-out fame in the early 80's. He is sorely missed by all his fans.
