This a tough and good looking watch. This is the second one I've had over many, many years and was pleased to find I could replace it with the same one. The old one still is working after years of abuse. This is a GREAT value.

I work out at least an hour daily. I needed a durable watch that had a split screen which showed simultaneously both the time and a stop watch. Most Casio models, and other watch brands, only show the stop watch function when in that mode, but not the time. When working out, it is a nuisance to have to click through the mode function to see the time, then back through to the stop watch. Most watches have a function to show both the time and a countdown timer. However, I needed a stop watch/time combination display. I was extremely surprised, and pleased when I found the Casio G-Shock Digital Watch model number DW9052-1V. This watch has a display showing a stop watch in the lower display with large numerals, and a smaller top display showing the time. This is the perfect solution for me. I can now see both the time and stop watch simultaneously. Of course, this is not the only option. You can have time and day/date, or time and countdown timer, and there are other display options available. This is a good looking watch. It is easy to set up for use. It is built very sturdy. Its crown is not plastic. The watch is rated for up to 200 meters under water. It retails for $69.95 but found it for $49.00 in the Base Exchange, and for as little as $39.00 on Amazon.Com. I highly recommend this watch. It is great value for the money. It is the most functional watch I have ever owned. P.S. For those who had battery problems--I always have a new battery put in a watch when purchased. Many times they sit on warehouse shelves for months before they are sold. That is why a new watch may only last a year before needing replacement.

This is a very functional "work" watch for me. It is durable, and has plastic/rubber casing, so I don't have to worry about electric shock (I'm an engineer). I've had it on since I got it about a month ago, with zero problems. Definately recommend.

I bought this watch to take my SCUBA certification test. Good looking watch and works as advertised. I will not wear it for anything other than sports, as it is a little too bulky for that. I do like it for the purchase intended.

The watch takes more abuse than any other I know but I have only worn Casio G-Shock for the past 15 years or so and am a little biased. Only problem is the wrist band doesn't hold up as well as the time piece and the replacement wrist bands are also not up to snuff. Still.....wouldn't wear anything else.

this is a great work watch and casual too.the display is easy to read and very functional.the light is easy to access in the dark and tell time too.i also like how the buttons are tucked in so you don't accidently hit buttons while sleeping or whatever.the watch is also very comfortable as well.i paid less than $45 with shipping and it is well worth it.this watch was suppose to be a work watch,but turned into my everyday watch.
