Holds darts well and the holes are not large, as I have seen in other boards. Very similar quality to what you would experience in a bar. Has worked well for us.
"Very Good Board, mounting hardware is adequate but not ideal"

I purchased this dart board about a month ago and it was the first thing that I had installed in the basement of my new house. The construction of this board is top notch. The weight it perfect. The section separaters are tapered to help reduce bounce-outs and there are no staples or stray pieces of metal anywhere on the board. Because of the material used to construct this board, your darts enter easily with only minimal noise and also pull out of the board effortlessly. The only complaint I have with the board concerns the mounting hardware. The mount that attaches to the wall is a simple bracket with a U-shaped cutout with single screw holes on either side. On the back of the board, there is a pre-drilled hole directly behind the double bulls-eye where a 1-inch long screw with a fat, rounded head is meant to be inserted. From that point the board is meant to be hung like a picture with the center screw resting in the U bracket on the wall. There are three additional metal "space fillers" that you need to attach to the back of the board to keep it stable against the wall but that is all you get to hang this thing. I understand that the single screw mount is meant to allow you to easily rotate the board, but there are times when you pull out your darts that the board moves and you're no longer looking at a straight board when you go to throw your next dart. All of these issues can be easily worked out by picking up some additional hardware at your local home depot to suit your needs but I personally would have preferred a more stable mount over the ability to easily rotate the board. Overall this is a great board and I highly recommend it for the serious shooter.
"Superb quality dartboard"

I bought this based on other reviews and they couldn't be more truthful. I can count the number of bounce-outs on one hand and I've been using it for a little less than a month. I can say that I am extremely happy with my purchase. And as a side note, the best bar in Chicago to play darts at has about 7 of these boards in their bar.
"Pretty Nice"

Concerning bounce-outs. 3 out of 1000 is complete BS. I smell a manufacturer review. It's not every throw, but you'll get them every few games. Other than that, this dart board is pretty nice. The setup and mounting instructions could be better, but follow the guide for how high to put the center mounting screw and that's about all she wrote. It's accurate if nothing else.
After owning this board for several weeks I really thought the bristle would heal better, but it's certainly better than what I've seen from most boards. This is a quality board, it should hold up for quite a while, putting it up is simple and quick. What more can you ask for? If you've played with a board that has "sharpened" wires, then you know what to expect. This is much better than the $25 stapled, wire lays on top of the board... boards.
Money well spent. I wouldn't go higher than $50 for it but I am confident that I got every penny I paid for. Soft or steel tipped darts work great, relatively easy installation and many quality games let me give this board 2 thumbs up. Don't spend more unless you're experienced and know what you're buying. If you're looking at boards in the sub-$30 range, upgrade to this one, you won't regret it. Also FYI, no darts come with this board so order accordingly.
The Blade III is the top of line dartboard produced by Winmau and it is worth every penny. I have it hanging in my garage for parties and/or casual use. It's very easy to mount and only requires a screwdriver and a hammer. The material hasn't cracked and the holes left by darts are not noticeable. I set mine up on a 38"x38" piece of 1/2" foam board that I painted black so as not to poke holes in the surrounding drywall. I honestly can't think of anything to criticize it for. It looks great and works great.
"BEST DARTBOARD! PERIOD!"

I've been playing darts recreationally for the past 7 years, and have played on hundreds of different dartboards. The Winmau Blade III is by far, the BEST DARTBOARD I've ever played on! Now that I have one, I am even more sure of it! The only time a dart ever bounces OFF of the board is when it hits another dart on it... that's it!
