"Not the same as the International Version"

I want to warn anyone buying the international version that the problems are different from the US version.
Also, some of the notation is different (ex. rupees instead of dollars) and some of the examples are different.
If you don't have problems assigned from the book, the international version will work fine.
Many sellers claim that the editions are exactly the same, but they are not!
"Textbook for class, came on time, intact"

I bought this for my intermediate economics class, I've barely opened it so I can't really judge the content, though my T.A.'s experience with it is that the math portions of the book are reliable. However, my professor bases most of his tests on his lecture slides so there isn't much need to read it myself. Other than that, it came on time, and intact, no problems at all.
"As far as econ textbooks go..."

Of the few econ textbooks I've read, I liked this one the least. The problem I found with it is that there are hardly any examples within the text. This makes it difficult to do some of the example problems at the end of the chapters. I think that a textbook that explains a topic and then gives a clear, in depth walkthrough of an example problem is much more beneficial.

"A good book for self-study"

I will be starting a grad program in public policy in the fall, and microeconomics is a prerequisite for the quantitative curriculum. I never took econ in college, and I didn't want to waste an elective taking an undergraduate course, so I decided to teach myself with this book over the summer.
I'm not sure that I could have asked for a better introductory book. It does not assume prior knowledge and it explains the foundations of economics in clear, precise terms. I especially enjoy how, even though you do not need prior knowledge of calculus to understand the lessons, there are special sections where they explore the math in more depth (albeit briefly). Though it is clearly an introduction to the subject, it covers sufficient material to actually teach me something (rather than going over basic concepts that could be grasped by a 7-year-old).
Overall, I am very satisfied with this resource. I expect that when I finish it, I will have proficient knowledge of microeconomic concepts and jargon to move on to more advanced texts and courses in grad school.
