| Tonight I was perusing youtube when I came across the music video for "Bury My Lovely" by October Project. I quickly fell in love with the song all over again. The first time I had heard it was on a local radio station in the '90s. At the time I had never heard anything like October Project. Mary Fahl had the most distinctive and unique vocals I had ever heard and still does to this very day. So on a whim I ended up downloading October Project's self-titled album. What a great album OCTOBER PROJECT is, this is my kind of pop music. All of the songs are enchanting with the lush melodies, gentle acoustic rhythms, and Mary's unique vocals. I am baffled how this album did not attract a larger audience. All of the songs had great pop hooks. I love all of the songs. There was not one track that I did not like on the album. Terminating the band's recording contract was a massive mistake on Epic/Sony's part. October Project truly deserved better treatment but at least their music will always live on forever. |

| Like many fans, I came across this group by accident, while switching dials one afternoon, the local cable had them on their local show. They were showing the show put on by October Project and as soon as I heard Mary Fahl start to sing, I stopped in my work. Her voice and this group's exceptional effort at creating music, real music, was incredible. Unfortunately, the bottom line is all that counts with most record companies and not the ability to develop great music. So instead of letting this group grow and continue to master their art, they cancelled the contract (stupid decison) and this lead to the disbanding of one of the most wonderfully crafted group of musicians and singers I have ever heard. Mary Fahl is out there and someday her From the Dark side of the moon album may get released. The rest of the group have tried a comeback of sorts, maybe an October Project lite effort (without Mary Fahl). I have since seen Mary Fahl in two other shows in the Philadlephia area, her voice has a total mesmerizing affect and I simply love to hear her sing. Their music is for anyone who enjoys good music,and they will be missed. |

| this is a very good and balanced musical masterpiece. probably the best cd i've purchased since fumbling toward ecstacy... which were probably produced about the same time... so many of the titles could be the top song on many albums..the music is great the vocals very strong. i really feel i got my moneys worth with this album... |

| A truely unique and wonderful sound that is like no other!! I discovered their music while surfing the Internet and had to have it! Their words are not the usual heard anywhere; the sound is like Irish and Scottish folk music with a touch of rock and new-age. It is a CD that I play from start to finish almost everyday and never get tired of hearing it. Anyone that is looking for this genre and something different with love this CD!! |

| Deserves all the praise. Of my husband's and mine combined music collection, this one stands unique and beloved... one that is equally loved by both of us. We have very different music tastes, but this one transcends our differences. Such a unique, rich combination of sound and moving poetic lyrics. This is the album I would recommend if you are buying just one (being my favorite, though I like both). Choosing between the two is like saying do you want the chocolate covered strawberry or the Sometimes it provides the perfect background music, creating just the right mood. At other times I need to mix the songs up with other styles, but each song makes you stop and listen when it comes up in the playlist. |

I can't describe this album with words. It's just so BEAUTIFUL....
Every chance i have, i buy copies and give it away to friends. They all loved it , and when they still play it, other people approach them to ask them who that band is...they are amazed!
Every time i hear about this group i think about how unfair the music industry is to all of us by dropping these magnificent artists and letting them go.
This is a real gem, a piece of art. It should be a classic album, an album of all times! |
