I liked 2 tracks from this CD, Dirty Deads and Big balls. I ordered the CD, because I did not have it my collection, and my wife had never heard the big balls song. It is really too funny. The rest is ok, but I could take them or leave them. I had this album on tape, back in the day. I also own several other ACDC albums. They had better albums, but if you want big balls, you have to get this album. It was worth the small price I paid for the CD.

Most people the classic title track but for true rock fans this whole album is a total hit. This is the AC/DC we all remember, I love the Brain Johnson era better but Bon Scott took AC/DC to places they could only go with him, he will be missed.

"Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" is one of the best titles ever for a rock record & AC/DC deliver with their second American release. The 2003 reissues were fantastic, especially for Bon Scott fans. They're tons of photos and liner notes documenting this time-period in AC/DC's history.

The title track, "Ain't No Fun (Waiting Round To Be A Millionaire)" & "Ride On" are excellent AC/DC tracks with vintage Bon Scott wordplay. I coulda done without "Big Balls," but why split hairs. They're one of the greatest rock bands ever & Bon Scott blows Brian Johnson outta the water. Another great cd by a great bar-band turned world-beaters.

One of the nastiest hard rock albums ever made (and minutely paralleling the fear-raising of punk rock), AC/DC's "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" actually felt like a threat...so much so that AC/DC's US label didn't even release it until after the band had broken big. Bon Scott wanted to be that criminal on the title track. He already knew he was the "Problem Child." And right behind him, Angus and Malcolm Young fired of bludgeoning riff after riff. There's muscle and attitude to burn through this album, from the pummeling hooks of the title track to the dirty joke of "Big Balls."

Juvenile? Sure. The band was well aware of that fact and gloriously revelled in it. This is AC/DC to their core; it is stripped down three chord rockers and dirty loud blues, all with Scott's knowing sneer leading the charge. When you listen to this in context of its timing, it is that Scott was still having fun being a cartoon thug. By Highway to Hell, he had worked his vocals to a fiery polish and - unintentionmally - went out with a bang.

Released in the US after the essentially Bon Scott Tribute Back in Black, "Dirty Deeds" shows AC/DC as they were marching to the top, and still sounds awesome.
