If you are a new makeup artist..or even if you've been doing it for awhile, please do yourself a favor and buy this book. It is extrememly informative and well worth having as a reference.

Well I bought this and it said it was the 9th edition but it was the 8th, and it upset me because I payed that much for a lower edition. but the shipment was in good time and everything but they lied about what edition it was..

Overall, this is a very strong text with a lot of detail. Most of the photographs in the book are in black and white. There are a few at the end of the book in color. I would have like for all of the photographs to be in color.
