This book was recommended to me by a coworker. (Wish I had known she was a big fan of Faux News. Mr. Ramsey has a show on that network and I'm sure he fits RIGHT in.) If you aren't married with children and especially religious this book has little to offer. It's all about God's plan for you and your kids and how finances fit in to that paradigm. I wish I had my money back. I prefer Suze Orman for personal financial advise. But that's just me.

"What goes around comes around" best describes Dave Ramsey's view of life and his approach to personal finance. Cheating on your taxes, lying to your spouse and gossiping about your co-workers will block you from achieving real happiness, even if you get rich. Though some readers may be more comfy with Ramsey's Christian leanings and scriptural references than others, it's hard to fault his folksy advice, his formula for success or his financial worksheets. While explaining sound fiscal planning, he also emphasizes the importance of living by an ethical code. He teaches that compromising your integrity sabotages your prosperity. Ramsey believes riches come to moral people who give to others - especially if they also control their budgets and pursue written financial goals. The one misleading element in the book is his subtitle. Ramsey does not identify "10 keys to changing your financial destiny." In fact, he lists 32 ethical, practical "keys" to the "more-than-enough mansion." getAbstract recommends his fatherly financial advice.

This book is more than financial advice, it's a lifechanging opportunity. I was so happy to see the biblical references as well as the relationship advice (that is so true) and just so many true to life success stories. I can't wait to share something new from this book with my best friend every single day.

This is a great Dave Ramsey book written between his two bestsellers. There is lots of personal information on how to change your financial life, intertwined with spiritual and personal messages for your life.

If your finances are out of order, or you have not made a will or have other aspects of your financial state in order, Dave Ramsey will show you a step by step plan on all the little details.

I have changed my life with his teachings. If your financial life is in order you have such a wonderful, peaceful existence.

I found this book to be very introspective, written by Mr. Davis who had the experience of losing finances and helpful as to ways to break the spending habit.

You can't go wrong with any of Dave Ramsey's books. If you want to learn a lot about saving money and all over help in finance his books are for you.
I have this one and the Total Money Makeover which is also a wonderful book. He has a sense of humor which also makes it fun to read.
