Trump has created wealth for himself and his family twice. I say twice because he was almost bankrupt in the 1990s. While this book is not a step-by-step instructional manual on how to get rich, it is more about how Trump did it, how he thinks, what motivates him, and his personal stories. Not everyone has to follow the exact same path, but it helps to read how he's done it. Trump, just like Warren Buffett, stresses the importance of public speaking. Not very many people can do it, so if you master it, you will stand out. While this is not his best book, you probably will find it enjoyable.

| When I was in my 30's, and in the process of growing my business, I read Trump's Art of the Deal, and read the book like it was a bible. Then I grew up. Trump is not a great writer, and he seems to have the same message today that he had in the `80's. That being said, I do recommend this book for a specific reason. Trump is a great brand, and as much as we mock The Donald, the fact of the matter is the man knows how to sell condos, apartments, hotel rooms, office buildings, and books. He is a great promoter, and a great brand marketer. He knows what the Trump brand means, and he has created a lot of emotion for the Trump name. If you read the book like a marketer, and ignore his self-proclaimed sage advice, you will gain some meaningful insights as to how to grow a brand, and protect a brand. I have to give Trump credit; the brand is significant throughout the world. But I will admit, I was embarrassed to be seen reading this book on my flights. I recommend the book, but remove the cover prior to reading to save yourself some glances of amusement. |

If you are a Trump fan, (which I was, until reading this book) you will be very disappointed with this book. The first half of the book gives some very common sense advice that can basically be summed up by; keep and open mind, stay positive, and be persistent in achieving your goals/dreams. The second half of the book was lousy. It was just name dropping and telling us whether or not he loves or hates the person.
All in all, this book lacked substance. The title is very misleading, as there is absolutely no advice on "How to Get Rich". I believe the title was used to try and sucker people in to sell more copies. |

Some people love him, some hate him. Buut one thing is for sure, we can all learn from him. While not everyone can get on his hit series The Apprentice, everyone can learn from him by buying this book.
I'm with a company that does business around the world. This company has already created millionaires, has many people currently earning a 6 figure monthly income. They expect to reach $1 billion in sales.
Why does this have to do with Donald Trump and this book? The highest achievers that I have talked to agree that the Donald has something worthy to say. Once you become a millionaire, who do you ask for advice? Of course, a billionaire! And you couldn't find a better mentor than Donald Trump.
