| I ordered this item and the retailer (Allergy Be Gone) had the item as 'in stock' on their website. Ha! It took about a month before I got the product. And they didn't send me an email to say it was out of stock until I called them after waiting a few weeks! |

The first Honeywell air filter HEPA pre-filter I ordered was through Amazon and its site that sounds like a drug store name. It was the wrong filter and it would have taken two that size to accommodate the air cleaner it was supposed to fit, but it was priced like the ones twice its size. It arrived in a box that looked very very tired. My thought was that, in addition to the box, the filter might have been well traveled, too, because it seemed like a deceptive practice. I sent it right back where it came from without even opening it, as well as the two free sheet outer filters to their source, but my credit card has not yet reflected a refund and it has been about two months.
Still needing a filter, I went to the Honeywell website and ordered the proper filter and it arrived faster and is working like a charm at a considerable discount compared to stores, if you can even find them. I would not use the other company ever again but had a good experience with the Honeywell Co. |

I placed an order for 2 filter listed as in stock, available for immediate shipping. Items aren't shipped as they're not in stock and an email arrives stating that. No info is in the email as to when they're expected, just a customer service number. Call to customer service, after a long wait on hold, reveals that the filters aren't expected for 2 weeks, placing the ETA at over a month from the order date. Customer service rep isn't thrilled about canceling the order, but claims it is canceled. Best of all, 8 were listed in stock when I placed my order, 7 are still listed in stock right now.
Why would I guess I'll end up disputing this charge on my credit card..........? |

It was not clear from this listing that this is NOT a Honeywell product -- though it says it is next to the name at the top of the page. When I opened it, it was immediately evident that it is not the same as the filter that came with my product and is of inferior quality. And worst of all, it does not quite fit correctly. I was able to get the door into place on the unit, but it does not quite close all the way. Very disappointed with the deception and the product.
Note: My item was sold by Alergy Be Gone. Other vendors may offer a different item, but beware.

| What's interesting about this product is the fact that I bought one (from here of course) and it's still sitting in my storage room. Why? Well, that's the interesting part. I bought this for my Honeywell 50250 99.97% Pure HEPA Round Air Purifier, which is five years old. It is still running with the original HEPA filter it came with and I have not had to change it. So if you're on the fence about buying this product unsure if it's reliable or worth the money then climb down and hit the 'Add to Shopping Cart' button. You'll be glad you did. |

| Thank goodness for Amazon. I couldn't find this filter in any of our stores...probably takes up too much space. Found it on Amazon, ordered it, arrived timely and I am very pleased. Now my filter is cleaning up nasty household air left over from Hurricane Ike. |
