I'm really divided with these headphones. It's vexing. On the one hand, the sound quality is phenomenal and probably sounds the best out of any headphones that I own. Problem is, I can't stand having them on for more than about 15 minutes, because they're so uncomfortable.
Now to be fair, it's rare that any headphones really fit me well. I can't stand earbuds, and my face is shaped in a way that I've had trouble getting most headphones to fit comfortably, especially for long periods of use. I've had moderate success with some of the ear clip types though, and the occasional pair of headband or neckband type will fit me well, but usually there will be some minor awkwardness that I have to work around.
However, these do not fit well at all. There is far too much pressure on my ears no matter what I try, and to be honest these are likely the most uncomfortable pair of headphones I own. You'd think with this level of quality in the sound department, they'd have taken a bit better into consideration the comfort factor.
They're essentially worthless for me since I cannot wear them for even short durations without pain from the pressure of them squashing against my ears/temples/etc. It's too bad really, because they do sound great. I guess it's back to ear clip style headphones for me. If you're like me and tend to have a hard time finding headphones that will fit you well, you may want to reconsider before wasting your money picking these ones up. |

I needed headphones (not ear-phones) so I can lay in bed and listen to music or meditate. My needs were great sound and flat shape, small on-ear headphones.
I originally found these headphones when they were private labeled by Radio Shack. I immediately knew they were koss, but they were on sale for $20.00.
I always thought they sounded excellent for the price, similar but not as good to my Grado $99 headphones which are extraordinary for the price. Sadly, the weak link is that inline volume control on the wire, it's constantly breaking and I have to replace the headphones every year or two. Unfortunately, they keep making them with that stupid inline volume control but they sound so darn good it's worth it. |

| I bought this set of headphones for use at home for the computer. The sound quality out of this set is truly amazing, better than any other set of headphones I have ever had the misfortune to listen through. This set gives more a stereo sound rather than the one-dimensional sounds the others give. I am sure that there are better and more expensive brands out there and I am not knocking those, but if you want good sound for a good price, this is it. The in-line volume control allows you to control the volume instead of having to adjust from the computer which is an added bonus, especially if what you're listening to gets loud all of a sudden. It even has the larger plug for not just computer use, but also for larger stereo equipment. Overall, I am extremely pleased. |

| I absolutely love these headphones..they are light, inexpensive and SOUND GREAT!! I have recommended them to 3-4 friends, and they all love them. The volume control has become a necessity, and the trebles and bass are amazing. What I love is that they are efficient, so I get amazing volume out of my cheapo MP3 player that I use for painting, outdoors etc. Don't just believe me....search the Internet! They are very highly regarded. Finally, I have been using these for years, and KOSS has awesome customer service. You WILL like these headphones!!!! |
