"A TRAVELER'S DREAM" | 2009-11-24 |

My wife, Naomi and I do a lot of traveling. With these speakers, which fold up like a sandwich, we can easily pack them with our clothes. The sound is pure Altec Lansing. The remote makes it simple to reset the alarm on our ipod from the comfort of our bed to get a "few more winks" in the morning. It's also nice to know that we don't have to depend on desk clerks to awaken us in such places as Beijing, Cairo, Mumbai, Warsaw, Prague, and other places where communication can be "hopey-wishey." We've been using them for a decade without any problems.

"2nd & 3rd Purchases - Very Happy w/ Product" | 2009-07-01 |

This is the 2nd & 3rd purchase I have made of the Altec Lansing inMotion Portable Audio System for iPod. I have been very happy with all of them. I bought one for myself awhile back and am only replacing it now because the power cord itself got damaged.
I have purchased other iPod Audio Systems in the past, at least 3 others, (2 for car, one for daughter) but have not been near as happy as I am with this one. Actually, my daughter was so disappointed with her's that she specifically asked for "one like yours". |

| I ordered this speaker set after reading so many good reviews. I have wanted portable speakers for a long time now and I did not want a bunch of wires or pieces that could get dropped or separated so this little number fit the bill. It is compact, one piece, easy to use and the sound quality is exceptional for something of this size and price. I wanted it specifically for battery use for picnics, out on the boat, etc. and I am very pleased. I recommend this speaker. |

"Sound not as good as a Bose" | 2009-05-05 |

| The sound in the high range was a little distorted. I miss the convenience of a remote to be able to go on to the next song but for the money it is a very nice little unit and it will be no problem in packing for travel. |

| The small speakers produce reasonably good sound. It conveniently recharges the iPod. The compact size makes it easy to tote along. |

"Fabulous iPOD Speakers" | 2008-12-13 |

I am a music teacher who travels between locations and classrooms five days a week. My iPOD is my 'life'! Finding a speaker system that can deliver sound to a large room filled with 20+ preschool children, that can fit into my purse, and that is light-weight, seemed like the impossible dream. UNTIL I found the "In Motion" speakers. I am on my second unit -- the first was kicked around a few too many times by dancing children and the iPOD dock became bent. My husband inherited that unit and uses it with a cable connection to the iPOD headphones port. The unit still performs wonderfully.
For very best results without power cord, use lithium batteries! I have recommended this speaker to several other 'traveling' Educators and all love the set. (Maybe I should ask for a commission???) J. Jones |
