It is awkward to carry, and the camera barely fits into the case. If you plan on having extra SD cards, batteries or anything else... put them in your pocket because they will not fit. The case is so small, when putting the camera in, it turns the knobs and even put a scratch on my view finder because you have to pretty much stuff it in.

The case is perfect for the camera. It is sturdy, fits the camera well and has adjustable straps so my daughter can wear it around her neck which is great.

This item is great, looks very nice and is very well made for the price. It is for the larger nikon, we got this for the larger coolpix. Plenty of room in it and it has been through alot. Very nice product.
I should have bought one of these years ago. I had my camera in a much skimpier case and it fell out of my bag and broke. This case is much better padded and the clip lets me attach it to the inside of my bag so it can't fall out. Has room for extra batteries and memory card. I wasn't happy with my Nikon Coolpix camera so I returned it and got a Canon Powershot instead and though the Canon is a bit bulkier than the Nikon it still fits in the case just fine.
I bought this case for an L14 and would have rated it a 4 or 5 but for a serious disadvantage - the on/off button presses against the side of the case and the camera sometimes switches itself on. This can run down the batteries or even result in damage to the camera's optical system.
Things I like about this case include: . The price is quite reasonable. . The camera fits easily into the case. . The case has room for extra batteries and memory. . The belt loop will not slip off a belt by accident. . The camera stays firmly in the case. . The padding provides some protection for the camera. . The case is usable by other cameras in this series.
Things I don't like include: . The L14 tends to switch on while in the case. . The case is bulkier than it needs to be. . The soft case doesn't protect well against protrusions (such as a table corner). . I would have preferred a different color such as black.
