I used this with my first child until he could sit up without wobbling. However, with my second child, I only used it for about the first month. The sling is the best part, it cradles the baby so that you can easily wash the child by yourself. I stopped using it with my second child because I was already filling the tub for one child, so I just figured it was easier to bathe them together. Now I am using a seat that a friend gave me a that supports the baby in the tub, so once again, I am pretty much hands-free.

We love the bathtub and so does our son! He was born a month early and was a small 5 lbs when he came home. He loves to lay in the tub and we love the way it keeps his head out of the water with his body in the water. Makes bath time a lot easier and safer with a wet and wiggly baby!
My sister-in-law saw pictures of our son in his tub and is buying one of her own for her third child.
Totally would recommend this to anyone!

I bought this tub because it was highly rated by consumer reports for safety. It is very safe. It is so safe that the baby has trouble getting comfortable. The wedge in the bottom keeps the baby well above the water which means s/he won't drown but also can't get submerged in the water. My baby keeps trying to scootch down in the water to get comfortable but can't quite manage. I know that safety is paramount, but since I am standing with the baby the entire time, I feel like I could go with more comfort and still be perfectly safe. I don't dislike this tub enough to replace it with a different one. However, if I had it to do over again, I would pick a different tub.

This tub has been very useful. I have been using it from the time my twins were born. They are 10 months old and I still use it for them. The hammock was very helpful when they were little. After they were able to sit up I put them on the other side of the tub and they both loved it. I started filling the tub with some water so that they can splash water and play. One of them does it and the other hates taking a bath these days. That is another story ! The tub has been convenient because it fits right into the kitchen sink and I have place to even keep their bath toys.

I don't have anything to compare this with as this is my first infant tub, but so far so good. I have been using it for nine months now and am very satisfied. Although I did buy it at Walmart instead of Amazon for a few bucks less. I really liked the sling, but I like the tub even more now that my son can sit up and enjoy the bath. The one and only thing I would change is adding some padding to the "infant/toddler" side of the tub. There is padding under the butt, but the baby's back sits right up against the plastic. If your little one is anything like mine, he will twist and turn, which actually has left a bruise on his lower back. Now I just put a large, soft washcloth and drape it behind him while in use. This has completely solved that problem. I only mention it so others can try it if needed, it really isn't such a pain that it would deter me from buying again.
The tub is great because it works with your growing child. The sling (for newborns) allows you to bath your little one without putting him in too much water and worrying about him wiggling in. It is also good because if he is hesitant about being in water, it's a good transition. My son is 9 months old and very big for his age, but still fits in this tub and absolutely loves it. I have a hard time getting him to get out. If he sees it, even if its not bath time, he cries to get in and play.

My baby was a preemie and with the sling in this tub it made it very doable to give my baby a bath and feel comfortable. She loves the sling and loves her baths in it. It is very easy to clean up and drain. Totally pleased with this tub.
