This grinder's best design feature is the simplicity. One button, one setting, not too many parts. Pour beans in, grind, pour coffee out. Done. If you have always bought ground coffee you will be surprised at the difference in flavor when you grind it just before brewing. Wow! It has also come in handy for grinding herbs & spices. They taste much better freshly ground as well!

Purchased this unit to replace an older, worn-out unit of same make and model.
Use: Daily for grinding whole coffee beans; occasionally for grinding nuts, spices, etc.
Pros: Unit is simple to use and takes up little counter space. Appearance is clean and easy on the eyes. Recommend black as it doesn't look dirty after grinding coffee. Reliable. Not expensive.
Cons: If you require a thoroughly consistent grain size in your ground coffee, seek another more expensive device. Difficult to clean after using it for grinding nuts or spices. Loud enough to stop conversation throughout the room. Unit gave off "burning electrical insulation" smell when used during the first week, so I watched it carefully and prepared to return it as defective. Then the unit quit putting out that smell and has been performing well since.
Summary: I would recommend this unit to a friend.

It grinds coffee. It works with no problems after months of heavy use (daily grinding of beans). Buy it.

I needed to replace my daily used Capresso coffee grinder as after years of use it was no longer fully grinding all the beans. I read reveiws on this unit and purchased it (not thru Amazon).

Positives:
Attractive design, small footprint, grinds OK (short use-see below) and apparant low price.

Negatives:
Only a partial stainless steel bean grinder tub. Mostly it is plastic and static electricity causes the grindings to stick to the tub making cleaning a larger chore. Also, the grinding blade attachment is not covered and it's niches allow grinds to build up and it too is difficult to keep clean. No cord storage. Noisy. No auto stop function.

I do not recommend this product.
