| With most things you get what you pay for and that is the case with Monster Cables. It did make a noticeable difference when compared with the stock cable that it replaced. I have since upgraded to a HDMI 600 and it was better than the 400 although not as big of a difference. Monster Cables are a quality product that made a difference on my television. |

"If you can get it out of the package then just plug it in, turn it on, and enjoy" | 2008-04-13 |

I needed something fast. This critter was on the shelf. The hardest part of the operation was getting this animal out of the packaging. That is no easy task. I imagined I would have to get lost in the sleazy part of town to find someone with the skill and a sharp enough blade to extract the cable without mutilating it or slicing up the warranty paper. The plastic casing (probably air tight) proved to be quite resilient and it took quite some time to slice little pieces of the welded edge before getting a handhold to jerk the case apart. I suggest you use leather gloves if you do not want to pay for an emergency hospital visit and clean up all the blood.
After the thrill of the opening is over so is the climax as in less then 30 seconds you can be plugged in and going. The only soles is that as with expensive haircuts you may be the only one that knows what you paid for it but you can be proud of the performance and sleep well at knight knowing you did all you could to insure a good connection.

"Expensive HDMI cables are pointless, I'll tell you why." | 2008-02-18 |

| HDMI is an all digital connection. That means and whole bunch of zero's and one's are being sent through the cable. 1's and 0's will NOT degrade or be subject to interference. Either the 0's and 1's are sent, or they aren't. There is no inbetween. I have always used 10 dollar cables and they work excellent and factually just as well as more expensive cables. |

| I have a 40inch Sony LCD monitor which is on a separate wall from the rest of my gear. My previous set up included high quality (high priced) component video cables. I still got intermittent RF interference in the form of color shifts and a slowly crawling horizontal line. HDMI completely eliminated the problem. This cable runs through a separate track, but in the same baseboard cable cover as the cable TV hookup and all of my speaker wires with no interference. If you are planning for a long cable run, HDMI is the only way to go. This cable works perfectly. |

Are you incredibly stupid and have so much money laying around you just don't know what to do with it? if so these cables are for you (and also if so, please contact me, I have a few bridges I would love to sell you).
If you are one of those uncommon people who like value in your purchases, you might want to try a cheaper cable. But if you are the fun and adventurous type who likes wiping their butt with one hundred dollar bills, these cables should not be missed. |
