The sound quality is good (not great) and they feel durable and well constructed. The problem is that the pads do not completely cover your ear lobes which makes them uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time (2+ hours). I do not consider my ear lobes to be large and if you look at the picture closely, you'll see that the shape of the ear pieces is oval. If they had just made them completely round then these would fit much better and then they would be the best value headphones out there.

Sound quality and noise filtering is good (used on an airplane) -- however, these fit VERY TIGHTLY. My head and ears got pretty tender after a couple of hours -- remember to remove your earrings! I had to switch out with some lightweight hang-on-ear noise cancelling ones. My head isn't huge, by the way!

I'd recommend these phones to anyone. For a 25 dollar set the sound quality is very good and the ear pieces cover the ears completely and very comfortably. They are also so light in weight that it is easy to forget you're wearing them . . . except for one thing. They clamp on rather tightly and there's no way to relax the grip. They are not so tight as to be really annoying to someone with a medium sized head like me (6.75 hat size) but I can imagine that a large headed person (7 or larger hat size) might be annoyed by their tightness and the inability to adjust the grip. Otherwise, these are a real bargain.

I bought these headphones to plug into my Toshiba Satellite laptop. I found out the laptop takes a 16 ohm mini-plug and the plug on the headphones is 32 ohm and has a smaller diameter. The headphones work on an Ipod and other computers but not on the Toshiba laptop.

This is the best bang-for-your-buck that I've ever seen. Seriously, I've owned $100 headphones that didn't sound nearly as clear as these. It's incredible to think how little I paid. Everything about them is perfect. The cord is long. They come with a stereo adapter. The sound is unbelievable.

There aren't enough superlatives in the English language for me to describe how pleased I am with these headphones. And this is coming from someone who hates wearing headphones. Kudos Sennheiser, you've won a customer for life.
