Purchased these for our 18 year old son to use in his college dorm next year. Of course the first thing he had to do was see how far he could go before the sound was compromised too much. He went over 2 blocks from the house which meant one block down a slight hill and then around a corner for another block plus before the reception wasn't good enough for him. And we live in a neighborhood of a large city so there were houses, etc. between him and the base. The headphones themselves are comfortable and the sound is great. He's very pleased with them.

Unless you are a real picky audiophile, you will be pleased with the quality these headphones provide, and hey even if you are a picky audiophile you will probably be pleased! I did a lot of researching before I bought these wireless headphones and I'm very satisfied with the quality and price ($31.99). The instructions, if you can call them that, were little help in getting it set up, but after some googling and brain racking, I figured it out. (My older tv doesn't have a headphone jack on it so I ended up going through the surround sound system. You can't just plug the headphone base into your tv audio input unless the tv has its own amplifier.) I bought these for watching tv, but found the sound is so good, it's great for listening to music, too! I only use these headphones late at night and I am naturally close to the tv so, of course, the reception is great. I did try walking around with them on and got some hiss in certain places, but overall, I'd say this product is........the best bang.

I am not an expert on sound, but I was greatly impressed by the sound and performance of these headphones. I got them for my birthday, and I use them around the house for mowing the lawn and working in my shop. I own just over 2 acres of land and have no problem with the sound anywhere on my property. I hooked the base unit to a radio in my bathroom and it functions clearly through the walls of my house and garage. Awesome buy for the price.

In product description: "In addition, the phones include replaceable parts, so users don't have to buy new headphones each time a part wears out" There were no replaceable parts in the package! Sometimes base turns off even when there is sound to transmit. The input to base needs to be kept on high volume. Sound is good but not great.

I use it to listen to my television's sound,it works perfectly well. You can regulate the volume very well, it sounds clear and in stereo. It fit's well on my ears and head, and what is great about it is the freedom to move. I can get up to get something to drink or whatever whithout having to loose out on the sound, mine works through several walls, I even went out with it to the mailbox, and it did not even fade out. The volume of the sound stayed the same as inside. It is great for the price, I can recommend it to everyone.

After doing a week's worth of research trying to find some good earphones for my husband I finally was convinced these would probably be a good deal. This was a birthday gift for my hubby and when I got home from work, he came running in to give me a big hug and tell me THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! When he put the earphones on me, it sounded like I was in a movie theater. These earphones are INCREDIBLE!! I didn't expect them to be this sensational. Now we both fight over them! Not really...but eventually we might get another pair so we can both watch movies and listen with the earphones on because it is truly incredible sound! We're both very happy with this product and have no complaints whatsoever. My thanks to the other reviewers who helped me to decide on this choice.
