This would have been a perfect coffee maker if they hadn't cheaped out on the display. You can't hardly see it. It should have been large and lighted since this coffee maker has many features. Other than that it makes the best coffee I have tasted. Pouring the water into the reservoir is a bit awkward. The snap on top on the carafe is hard to deal with. But I give it 5 stars anyway. Great looks, Great coffee. I buy Jamaican Blue Mountain beans and grind them directly before use. This coffee maker does them justice. Nice features, and a couple of distracting oversights. Nothing is perfect, but this coffee maker comes close.

This is by far the best coffee machine we have ever had. It would be a 5 Star product if they could improve one small thing.
That is that the clock should have a battery backup so you don't have to reset it if the power goes out.

We're not coffee drinkers, but decided to buy a coffee maker so our house guests won't have to go without a java fix. My father-in-law has this particular model and we were impressed with how quick and easy it is to use. Clean up is also a snap. The only downside is I missed getting in on a rebate by four days. :-}

I am very happy with my new coffee maker. Great coffee and quick and more quiet than my previous one (krups). Two things I would change - you cannot tell how much water you are pouring in when you look into the coffeemaker...it is dark and the numbers are pretty much useless. You have to go by the carafe to measure water. I wish I could see the cup marks better on the coffee maker. Second, I wish you could turn off the beeps as an option for when coffee is done. Other than that I am very happy with the product.

I bought this coffeemaker two years ago at Costco. I ordered several years worth of coffee filters later from Amazon (they don't seem to make any difference in the flavor). I like the coffee but the brewing is slow. As a mitigation I use the programmable timer to start the coffeemaker 20 minutes before we get up. 20 minutes seems to be an awful long time to brew 12 cups of coffee and it has been that slow almost since the beginning. I cleaned it once with vinegar but there was no difference in the brewing time. It is difficult to fill the tank and unless I pour slowly and carefully I often end up with a puddle on the counter. I like the removable tanks that you can fill directly from the tap better as a design. Our carafe just fractured and I debated whether to spring for a newer machine or just replace the carafe on this one. I hated to throw out all that plastic, so I bought the new carafe.
