If like most artists, every expense is a concern, purchase of this book is one expense you should be willing to spend. I have been selling my art for more years than I care to say, I was floored at the common sense information contained in the pages. Most important is the manner in which the book is written, plain English, definitive explanations and above and beyond information. A very good book, buy it!

| This book has useful information if you are a 2-D artist and you are just getting started marketing your art. The version I have was last updated in 2007 and I was quite disappointed it only briefly touched on internet marketing. The book is geared towards painters also. |

| Now, first I have to see that I have the rare privilege of having creative in-laws. From a grandmother (in law) that can give art marketing suggestions (I'm serious) to an Artist/Photographer mum-in-law to an Artist/Architect sister-in-law, I'd say that I have some pretty good resources on my own. However, I got this book and was amazed at all the suggestions you find here and it's explained step-by-step for suggestions. This is a great resource and covers so much more than you'd imagine from the title, I feel like every artist should have a copy of this book. |

| Art Marketing 101 is really aimed at emerging artists who would like to start selling their artwork directly to the public. If that's your ambition, as it was mine, this is a great resource. I really appreciate the fact that it's action oriented. You'll find yourself getting motivated to quit dreaming and get moving. Yes, some of the material will become outdated because technology is changing the art business so rapidly that it's impossible for a book to keep pace, but the author's done a good job of updating with each new revision. Overall, you'll find plenty of solid direction and great ideas that you might not have thought of without it. |

| Great Must Have Book for any Artist!!! This book gave me great insite on what to do once I was finished creating art. It helped me place my artwork in the right market place and sell my art. I think anyone who paints or creates needs to have this book. |
