This is my absolute favorite goat cheese out on the market. It is delicious and doesn't have the strong after-taste that is so typical of goat cheeses. Rather the taste is mild. It is much sought after in my house and a top seller in the health food store in town. It is made from raw milk, not pasteurized, which is sought after in the health community. The flavor is wonderful. It can be eaten raw or used for cooking. Plainly put, it is delicious!

Like another reviewer here, I was just a slight bit disappointed with this particular product. I suppose my primary objection was the consistency of this cheese. That being said though, I must admit to being very, very particular in this area and am well aware that others may not agree with my particular taste. The flavor was very mild and I found it good to serve to those non-cheese people who visit that may not be familiar with the wonderful range of flavors out there. All in all, it was good....just wish I had a source at the source.

I have to say I was disappointed - it may just have been my batch, but the texture was closer to mass-produced supermarket cheddar rather than a raw milk boutique cheese. Rubbery mouth feel and a mild, innocuous taste. I was hoping for much more from this cheese based on the write up and awards. Overall, this is an easy to eat cheese that would be good to serve to friends who are put off by stronger, flavorful cheeses.
