I am very pleased with the size of the towel it is extremely absorbent, and does not have any odors or lint issues. I am happy with the purchase but do think the price is a bit out of range for the product, so I deducted a star for that. I assume in time if the towel is durable enough, it could be worth the price, but only time will tell that, as I have only had my towel for a couple weeks now.

Just got back from a backpacking trip through europe and this towel was great. Easy to pack, quick to dry, and big enough to cover everything when some hostels provide less privacy than you are used to.
"Grat hair towel / Lacking as a bath towel"

I bought my wife a couple of hair towels like this (only smaller) some time back and she loved em. So I thought hey, I could use a better bath towel so I ordered this one. I used it two times and it is now my wifes BIG hair towel. If you can adjust to "pat" drying after a shower this towel might be for you. I recently replaced it with a Europen 100% pure cotton Waffle Weave towel. For me, a much better choice. Note: This Aquis microfiber towel gets some impressive ratings sooooooo, you probably won't be disappointed.

I've been using the hair towel for years and was pleased enough with it to get the larger, bath towel. I was having trouble using big, heavy towels. This towel is very absorbent, it's light weight, and it dries quickly. What more could I ask for?
"Microfiber microfiber towel not for everyone"

Love microfiber and have found this brand to be very good. However, I want to rub my back with the towel and this just stays in one place and soaks up the water. My daughter-in-law loved that so it is hers now. I'll just stick with the hair towel.
"Some trade offs"

Having used this towel for the past 5 months, I have to say for the most part, I like it. There are certain things about it that caused me to deduct a star or so. Yes, it does drag on your skin in a not-so smooth way like an all cotton towel would. Instead of dragging over skin, try patting yourself dry with it; it takes some getting used to but it's quite effective. I'd say that it dries hair maybe 25% more than a regular cotton towel. It is definately much lighter and less bulky than a cotton towel. Never noticed any kind of bad smells coming from the towel; always smells neutral. I deducted a star because it's a high maintenance towel. This towel and the Aquis hand towel take up one entire load in the washer to ensure that they don't become dingy from rubbing into other clothes and because fabric softener should not be used on these towels per the instructions. I deducted another half to one whole star because of it's sheer cost. I was able to get these when Amazon was running a promotion but it was still much more costly than a cotton towel purchased from a discount chain store. All in all, I like the towel but it is definately a luxury item. I would recommend it to frequent travelers because it's light and compact.
