"Non-stick coating didn't last" | 2008-12-30 |

I bought this griddle in January 2006. It got used 2-3 times per week on our glass-top GE electric range with bridge burner. It worked great while it lasted. However, even though it was always hand-washed (this thing doesn't even fit in our dishwasher!), the non-stick coating started to flake off sometime around summer of 2008.
For comparison's sake, given the same care our Kirkland/Costco non-stick cookware pieces have lasted considerably longer than this and several of them get used much more frequently. The non-stick surface on that cookware looks almost good as new after 4-5 years.
So while this Circulon product worked great while it lasted, I have to say I'm very disappointed that it didn't last longer given the price point. I'm not sure what to try next but it won't be another Circulon nonstick product |

I bought this griddle for my boyfriend to replace the cheap one he had. What a difference. Good quality and makes cooking things like pancakes and grilled cheese sandwiches a breeze.
We've had this for over a year and followed the cleaning instructions (no scouring, dishwasher, etc) -- just soap, water, and a sponge. Still as good as new. |

"Perfect for A Family of 4 (maybe 5) on Gas Range" | 2008-07-30 |

I was making two pieces of French Toast at a time for my wife and two kids. We would let the kids eat first, then we would eat so that everyone's meal was hot. Also, when I made breakfast tacos, I could only make four pieces of bacon at a time. We wanted to eat with the kids!!!
Enter Double Burner Griddle. For a family of four this is the perfect size. If you have five in your family this is still probably big enough, but for six people you will want to consider a bigger griddle.
Clean up is extremely easy (make sure you let it cool completely before you clean to avoid warping). The griddle is perfectly level and does not wobble at all on my gas range. Heating is almost perfectly even. I can tell a slight difference when items are in the in between areas of the heating source, but it basically turns it from well-done to medium-well. I have never had to give more cooking time because an item suffered from lack of heat distribution. Also, there is a pour spout at the corner which is great for pouring grease into a glass jar. I love that aspect because we eat alot of bacon in our house.
I have cooked home made home fries, fried eggs, french toast, bacon, pancakes, and scrambled eggs. Everything cooks perfectly and nothing sticks (except fried eggs need a quick spray of non stick underneath then its golden).
Breakfast is now a breeze. I love this product. Best cookware buy I have made in a long time. A++.
p.s. Best Breakfast Tacos: Fry bacon first (Hickory Maple flavored) and set on paper towel, drain most of the grease but leave a coating for flavor. Then mix eggs with a splash of milk and cook in the thin coat of bacon grease. Remove eggs from heat. Turn off heat source and warm up four tortillas on griddle (tastes much better than warming in the microwave). Build your tacos and enjoy!!! |

| We absolutely LOVE this griddle. It sits completely flat, heats evenly, and the non-stick surface is as good as advertised. We're so impressed that we are looking to buy other items from the same product line. |

| I have owned this griddle for several years now and it holds up to all kinds of abuse. This was one of my first purchases after the Circulon boxed set - and it's been one of the most used pieces. It fits on my stove best from front to back (leaving room to the side for an omlet pan!), but my back burner is smaller than the front, so I've learned to rotate things back & forth for even doneness. Due to it's length, it's a little awkward to store sometimes. Cleaning is a breeze (as with all the other Circulon pieces), thanks to the hi-low ridges, with no ridge appearance on the food. |
