"Solid Construction, Easy Assembly, Good Value!" | 2009-09-24 |

This is a typically designed cart for industrial storage. The shelves are reinforced well, and the pole design with wedge sheath inserts allows each shelf to hold an incredible amount of weight, my guess in excess of what the plastic casters can bear.
Assembly was a snap. it took me about 10 minutes to assemble, most of the time spent with the very tiny wrench used to tighten the nut on the casters. I have very large hands, and it got a little frustrating. The Average Jane or Joe need not worry! :)
The design is attractive. I have mine setting against the wall, underneath my wall mounted pots and pans rack and my magnetic knife strip. currently I'm using it to store my small kitchen appliances, especially my empire red set of kitchenaid appliances (stand mixer, blender, food processor, and immersion blender). There's even enough room for my spice grinder and rice maker. The slow cooker is out of luck, unfortunately. :P I'm debating about buying a second one of these to stand next to the original for more storage. I wanted a way to show off my colorful appliances while keeping them organized, and this little gem did the trick.
I am debating about also getting a red maple board to cut to fit the top of the cart, allowing it to be used as a work surface as well. Only two of the casters lock, so if I do that I may remove the casters alltogether and come up with a more permanent method of anchoring it in place.
As it is, its an excellent value, looks nice, is easy to put together, and has a lot of use for people wanting to modify it to their own space. |

| These chrome shelves are wonderful, they hold tons of even very heavy stuff, and you don't have to lift it all anymore, these shelves just wheel it all, about, no sweat! great price, I got three! they totally transformed my service porch, from ugly and dusty and stuff everywhere, to pretty, and now I can move them, even when they are full of stuff, so I can clean underneath them; and everything that was all over the place is now neatly stored on my three shelves! That room has been transformed from absolutely horrible, to beautiful, with just a hundred bucks (got three!)! They stack old newspapers perfectly, and then you can roll them over to your recycle bin, without hurting your back with lifting them all, makes short work of recycling those horrid heavy newspapers! all I have to say to you about these shelves is GOFERIT! I got three for $33. no shipping/each, but they are worth ten bucks more/each, in my opinion!Whitmor 6056-344-N Supreme Cart, ChromeWhitmor 6056-344-N Supreme Cart, Chrome |
