I bought these knives about two years ago and they're still going strong. I see a lot of negative reviews here, but my experience, overall, has been good. I don't use all of the knives that often, but the chop and scoop is my favorite knife in my knife drawer. I use it for all my chopping needs. It's a great little knife and powers through all my veggies, fruits and whatever else I need to be cleanly chopped. I even slice cakes with this knife because it makes a very clean straight cut.
The bread knives, I think are fantastic and cut through all my home made breads without smashing them or tearing them.

The steak knives are the only ones that have rust spots in my set, however, they're far superior to the steak knives my friends provide for me when I go to eat meals at their homes. I've had several dinner guests compliment how well these knives cut through the meat.

The other knives in the set, I can't say I use much, but I really don't have a problem with them. I have some more expensive versions of some of them, which obviously, work better, but for the price of these knives, what is there really to complain about? I've paid more money for worse knives in the past!

these are pretty good knives for cutting anything in the kitchen. Not the very best in the world but they dont cost several hundred either. They do work well.

I just don't understand these bad reviews. Perhaps the quality of this product has gone down over the years? I have had a set of these knives for well over 5 years......not a bit of rust and I can still slice a tomato paper thin. They are fantastic for the price I paid and to not have to sharpen. I have never ever put them in the dishwasher and would not do so no matter how much someone told me I could.
I am buying some for my friend.....I stay at her cabin frequently and get SO frustrated with having to try 3-4 knives before I can find one that actually does the job and even then, not very well.
I love these knives!

They really do cut and cut and cut like the energy bunny, I have given them as gifts. I will never buy any other knifes. I have recommended them to all I know. Enjoy!

For approximately $25.00 total, I was very pleased with this purchase. The knives are very sharp, and pretty substanstial. We have used most of them, except the large chopper. Cooking for just two retired folks, doesn't really require much chopping! Time will tell how they will hold up, but they are definitely a bargain. We have some expensive knives, but with the trials of age, it is a chore to keep them sharpened.
