The funnels are great! You get two funnels, a large and a small. The black lines on the sides hold the funnel inside the receiving container well. What I can't figure out is the filter. Either I don't understand it's operation or it's just designed really weird. The filter goes on the outside of the funnel, and the space between the filter and the funnel, where the liquid would go through and be received by the funnel is actually smaller than the holes, meaning that the particulates would simply be trapped there before even reaching the funnel, blocking the flow of the liquid. Maybe I'm just doing it wrong - it seems that silly.
Anyhow, if you're mostly just looking for two good funnels, this is great. If you need the filter, not so much. I just needed funnels, and the funnels are really great, and stand up to heat up to 250 degrees. Since water boils at 212, you don't need much higher heat tolerance than that for most cooking liquids (don't try to funnel hot oil, which can get up to much higher temperatures, with this - that would be dangerous anyway!).
Overall, great funnels, I really like them. |

| They are funnels. I'm not sure what high standards some folks may have for their funnels, but these do their job. The strainer has three little nubbs that it fits under within the large funnel to sort of hold it in place. They stack well for easy storage. They grip nicely. Unless your pouring hot liquids, the finger grips are suffice to hold the funnel stable (even though the grips around the base of the funnels do a pretty decent job at stabilizing). I'm not sure why you would want an extended handle...to me that just seems like it would get in the way and make for more difficult storage. Overall, this is a good product and I would recommend. |

1. The strainer is very hard to lock into place.
2. The strainer only strains large particles about the size of dry grits or very coarsely ground coffee. So that means that most coffee grounds go right through the strainer even if the strainer doesn't pops out like is does on me. The strainer is good for nothing that I need it for.
3. Both of the funnels are pretty nice. The rubber grips are pretty nice too. |

| This is a great handy little set. I haven't used the strainer yet but can think of many uses in the next couple of months. I originally purchased it because I needed something in order to get my drink mixes into the mouth of water bottles without spilling everywhere. |
