We learned quickly that this goes fast on hardwood floors. My niece is still not able to walk much without leaning on things so I thought this would be great. Instead she leaned on it and it scooted away from her. We put it on the carpet and she was good to go. She loves it, especially when we push her around on it.

The design of this walker is awful. For a toy built to assist a baby starting to walk should be designed so the baby doesn't trip over the very thing that is supposed to assist them! The bottom wheels come out so far that as the baby holds on to the handle, the legs constantly gets tangled with the wheels. I don't know why the wheels have to come out so far. As for the car version, it works fine. But used as a walker, it is terrible.

This toy is great for entertainment, i love the riding part and the cute little things on it.
I don't trust this thing as someone that is just trying to walk because it rolls ahead so fast.
I would recomend it we have had it for 2 1/2 years now and my son still plays with it!

This toy has been through both of my kids now and I've had the same experience with both: this toy is just fine as a "riding/scooting" toy but is terrible as a "learn to walk" toy. The problem is there is very little to no resistance in the wheels so as soon as you begin to push on the handle, it goes rolling. This is useless for a child that still needs some help balancing as he/she begins to learn how to walk since as soon as the kid puts any weight on it, it shoots forward. This is probably a larger problem on my hardwood floors but I can't see it being significantly better on carpet.

The good side of the toy is that it is well sized for a riding toy. The handle is place well and my kids were/are able to get on and off easily by themselves.

my daughter is just starting to walk and she had fun with this toy. even when she's not walking with it, she sits and plays with the extra stuff on it. definately worth it since you can change it to a riding toy as well.
