I bought this trike for my son when he was 2 1/2. We tried out different trikes in a store and this was the only one that he could pedal (the others had way too much rolling resistance for a little kid to get going). He has ridden it for a year and a half now, and we have ridden for miles and miles (probably over 100 miles total by now) down the bike trails in our area. The solid rubber tires are fantastic, much better than the hollow plastic ones on some other trikes. No parts have ever broken, in spite of hard use on our bumpy sidewalks and lots of pretend "crashes" into curbs, and we've tightened up the handlebars and seat from time to time. It is a taller trike than most (probably why it's easier to pedal) so it can be tipped over, but my son learned pretty quickly not to take sharp turns - he never had a bad fall and ALWAYS wears a helmet. He has started to ride a bicycle now, and I think having a taller trike has made it easier for him to make the transition to a two-wheeler. And wearing a helmet became a habit for him really early. DO buy a helmet that fits your kid when you get their first trike - they might seem slow and safe at first, but you'll be surprised how fast kids can get going with experience.

He's happy to have a trike that fits him. And his little brother is happy to take over the one left behind. The instructions were simple, but you do have to follow them as my husband, who never follows instructions, will attest. The bell was faulty, but my call to the manufacturer was answered politely and enthusiastically. We'll see if the bell shows up but I'm optimistic.

We bought this for our 3 yr old granddaughter and her 2 younger brothers. It is a little hard for her to pedal right now but she does do a good job on a concrete pad. I think the smaller one would have been too small. We bought this knowing it would be able to stand up and last through the 2 boys to follow. It is well made and great looking. We are looking forward to watching all 3 of them enjoy this trike! It was very easy to put together.

It's a joy to watch the smile on the face of our grandson as he rides around on his trike! At 3, it's the perfect size for him now, but it can easily grow as he does.

Assembly was straightforward and fairly easy. Slightly "out of round" rear wheels were quickly replaced by the manufacturer's customer service department without any hassle at all. I recommend using a socket wrench (if available) in placing the handlebar since it requires a good tightening to remain aligned with the front wheel when an active boy or girl makes sharp turns.

The limited steering radius is a great safety feature, but it prohibits the use of the trike inside small apartments. Note that the recommended weight limit is 50 lbs. for the seat!

All in all, a great product reborn for today's kids.

We bought this for my husband's Godson,who will be two. He could not come close to touching the pedals, but we will find the blocks that attach to the pedals to make them thicker. That should work. He fell in love with it right away, and wouldn't get off. The bell would not stay together no matter what, so it will have to be replaced with another one. All-in-all, it is completely sturdy, and he is going to get tons of play time out of it. Aside from a bell that can easily be replaced, I would definitely recommend it.

My daughter absolutely loves this bike. She is a tall three year old and has been able to get the hang of riding it pretty quickly. It has been stable enough for her, but she doesn't go very fast yet. I had no problems assembling it. Very happy with my purchase.
