I can't believe more people didn't comment on how noisy it is. I actually have to raise my voice when pushing this car and walking with my wife. My neighbor actually heard me walk up and down the sidewalk and commented on it. Plastic wheels and city sidewalks don't make a good match. Step2 makes one with rubber wheels - and has a cup holder I think. If I could do it again, I'd fork over the extra $20 and get that one. My 16 month old boy loves it.

A fun toy for a ride inside or around the block!
Perfect for that 5 o'clock "witching" hour before dinner :)

I bought this for my nephew's first birthday. He loves it! The "trunk" is a favorite for loading and unloading...a must do for the 1 year old set. Mommy can push him around while keeping up with the older kids.

my son LOVES this toy. We also prefer it over the cozy coupe type for little kids because little feet stay inside away from the ground so you can push at a decent pace without worrying about feet dragging and getting hurt.

My son is obsessed with his car. I totally wasn't going to get him one of these, because I thought it was something we could live without. My son was given one for his first birthday and now I see the error of my ways. I have to watch my son like a hawk, because he has learned to bypass the baby gate in order to get outside to his car. He is always so happy to get put in it for a ride & he isn't the type of kid that goes in a stroller easy. My only complaints are that its really loud, the wheels don't really pivot, they can't make the car go themselves, they can't sleep in it- so you end up carrying the baby and pushing the damn thing, and creepy guys use the car as a pick up line. All things considered though, I'm so glad that someone smarter then me thought to buy this for my little guy. Whenever I take my son to the park or play park all the little ones freak out over this car, and the older ones want to push the little ones it, which provides my son with an excellent opportunity to practice sharing. I ran into a guy at the farmers market that had one as a kid, and he said that the car is worth its weight in gold- I'd say that's an accurate statement.

My 18 month old daughter loves riding in this car. Besides its bulkiness, I would say that an improvement would be rubber wheels instead of the plastic wheels.
If you want to take it farther than a block or so, this car is not great.
