| The first three spyro games are in the same category as movies like The Godfather or albums like The Dark Side of The Moon. You absolutely HAVE to play them, there's EVERY reason to play them, and you MUST play them. To this day, I consider them to be the epitome of the platformer game. Even games like Rayman 2 or Crash Bandicoot are extremely pale in comparison the the Spyro games. Over a course of three games, Spyro traverses the most beautifully diverse and vibrantly colorful realms practically bursting with hidden magic and wonder. Icy cliffs, scorching deserts, medieval castles, dank swamps, sky cities, hot volcanoes, deep oceans, sunny Greek city squares, foreboding metropolises, Arabian castles, bug infested farms, wet springs, the list goes on. the first three Spyros will offer you not hours, not days, not weeks- but a lifetime of joyous memories. There's no reason to explain why to get it, just get it! |

These games really are part of my early childhood, but I still love them. In 2002, when I was five years old, my dad came home from the video game store with the first one (Spyro The Dragon). I loved it so much that before I could even finish the first one, my dad bought me the second one (Ripto's Rage) and the third one ( Year of the Dragon). Every once in a while, I pull them out again and they're still a bit challenging. These games will always be special to me. Another reason I want to pull them out once in a while is that I've never beaten any of them. The graphics may not be the best, but they are still alot of fun.
They all have cute, easy to follow plotlines. I truly believe that anyone of any age can play them. Even my 43-year-old dad still likes them. I completely and utterly recomend them. |

| These are the only spyro games worth buying!!!! the others are all TERRIBLE!!! (hero's tail isnt that bad...) These three games bring HOURS of fun! i cannot count the many times i have played these. i recommend spyro to anyone looking to have a good time. :D |

| The original Spyro PS1 games are a great combination of exploration, whimsical graphics and treasure collecting fun! These are games that can be enjoyed by all ages - adults and kids alike. I recommend this if you're looking for something relaxing and fun without all of the graphic violence (but still plenty of burning action - I never get tired of flaming those sheep...its just so amusing when they poof into butterflies) or questionable content of most games today. The beginning levels may seem a little simple however they do get more challenging as you go - but not too hard so kids can still enjoy playing. Comparatively, the new Spyro games aren't near as good. |

| These games had the most beutiful graphics and excellent obstacle challenges for reaching thing like gems or keys or what ever you need to beat the levels. If you thought crash was alot of fun then spyro is the game for you if you want really hard challenges that envolves lots of high climing or reaching lot's of jumping and gliding to another building or mountin thats hard to reach running and crashing other enimies and shooting fire to eliminate your enimies. This was very hard for a kiddie game that would make me quite ill tempered if I lose a thousand times. |
