As far as functionality, this stand works well and has several different height adjustments. As far as quality, it's made from sturdy plastic that can easily handle any computer monitor.
My only other comment is that the stand takes up the top half of the desk area, but it's well worth the benefit of having your monitor elevated.

This item does what it should do, raise the monitor, but it still irritates me that I had to pay for one in the first place... Why don't monitor producers make this a standard option to raise the height integrated into the design of the monitor? Thanks for sending it though.
Very good that you can choose which height you want from 3 options! You would think THAT would be a part of design for ALL monitor risers but it isn't! Check height options BEFORE buying a riser to make sure it will work for you!

The standard monitor risers were just what we needed. We used them for 2 pc monitors and 1 tv.

I bought both the Targus PA235U stand and this one and decided to keep this Fellows stand. The Targus stand looks nice, but it is more expensive, and the minimum height is too high for my setup. From my experience with computers, I would say the three adjustable heights offered by this stand are more appropriate for most people than the two heights offered by the Targus stand.

All reading, including books, newspaper and computer screens, should ideally be done with the head and neck straight, with eyes looking ahead.

For those who sit and read their screens a lot, this monitor riser promotes good sitting posture. In addition to relieving stress on the neck, the raised monitor prevents "slouching" which so many people do in front of their computers.

The device is simple, but the ergonomic benefits are enormous. I highly recommend it, especially those with neck problems.
