I've had this system for about 3 years now and it has been pretty bulletproof. Reception is commendable in my opinion. I can walk to the other end of my offices (more than 120 ft) and even with lots of walls and doors between the headset and receiver, still get good reception. Same goes with outside. I've walked all the way to my car, on the 1st floor and still had reception with minimal interference.
Plantronics R&D department would probably consider me an "extreme usage" case study. Obviously the unit is showing some wear at this point after constant use for 8-10 hours a day, over the last 3 years. I have worn some of the paint finish off of the headset (near where the "answer button" is), and have moved on to the 2nd earloop after the first began to crack and dry out. It's been dropped more times than I can count, often gets stuffed into my pocket during meetings, and still continues to work without fail.
The CS50/HL10 has been nice when I've needed to answer calls when not at my desk, and leaves me wireless and hands-free to get some fresh air when I want to during the day. I do wish there was a more clear indication that the headset is active and on a call, as there are times my colleagues arent sure. Also, I won't be disappointed when the next systems get a little bit smaller, but this product has been great thus far.

I purchased this item for my husband who uses a telephone for his business about 7 - 9 hours a day......he loves it! Frees up his hands and does not hurt his hands and ear after a long day of talking.

Products exhibits both comfort and superior range limitations. I am able to walk over a hundred feet away from the phone receiver and still carry a clear conversation. The Automatic phone pick up makes life easy when i am away from the desk. Great bang for the buck

I was experiencing considerable neck & shoulder pain from holding the phone and trying to type & mouse at work. I had worn headsets years ago and absolutely hated them.
The technology and comfort have come a long way. The unit is very comfortable even for extended periods. The sound clarity is good on both ends.
The headset lifter was a bit tricky to get to work properly, but eventually with lots of trial and error it works like it's supposed to.
A few weeks of using this has helped the neck/shoulder pain significantly. I'm very pleased with the product.
