I haven't bought it and yes I can only give a high rating because at this point in the game after watching AYBS for years and then the complete series DVD collection watching in rotation over & over, just these characters being in the same setting together is all I need. These characters are so unique although fictional they are ALIVE...they could just be sitting reading a phone book and I'd watch. I just bought the AYBS complete series DVD's. Maybe to explain a few characters that may not appear in this series is that a few AYBS died before this series was made. I want to say RIP Wendy Richards (Miss Brahms) who died Feb 26, 2009 after a long battle with cancer, she was 65. Other AYBS casts no longer with us: Jon Inman (Mr. Humpries) b. 6/28/1935 died. March 8, 2007...Arthur English (Mr. Beverly Harman) b. 5/9/1919 died. 4/16/1995...Harold Bennett (young Mr. Grace) b. 9/17/1899 died. 9/15 1981....Frederick Baker (Mr. Grainger) b.2/26/1905 died. 5/28/1978 (explaining him not in later series). All of that sadness wanted to cheer up folks and say Happy Birthday Nicolas Smith (Mr. Rumbold/Jug Ears) who turns 75 March 5th! I'm so glad Mr. Peacock/Frank Thornton Ball, Mollie Sugden/Mr. Slocombe, Trevor Bannister/Mr. Lucas, & Nicolas Smith/Mr.Rumbold are still with us. There is a downside to being a British Comedy fan, especially classics like AYBS many greats are no longer with us. But thankfully, we'll have these series available on DVD to keep them alive and share with younger generations.

Are you being served? Again! is not for everyone. As a fanatic about the 70's original series Are You Being Served? I thought I might try this follow up series.

Though funny in it's own right. The formula that had worked so well in the previous series was no longer there. For example, all of the former staff of Grace Brothers Department Store are no longer in any position of authority. Which doesn't allow for the jokes when it comes to going over another's head. Additionally, the cast has aged so that some of the sexual innuendo (references to Mrs. Slocomb's cat, for instance) no longer seem to make as much sense.

While the show is cute in its own right. I think that only the most devoted of Are You Being Served?'s following ought to purchase this dvd set.

This show was the spin off of Are You Being Served. After young Mr. Grace passes away, the staff of the mens and ladies departments find out that they have inherited a country estate that is being run as a country inn. They go to view the property and decide to continue running it as a country inn. I loved the origianal show and loved this just as much. It was funny and witty.

the british goofed when this follow on series to "are you being served?" when they called it "millhouse manor". "are you being served? again! was its american title.

Great! This is a a "must have" for Are You Being Served listeners. And it has the whole series. Mr Humphries is great in his bedroom scenes with the farmers daughter, especialy if you have the background of Are You Being Served.
