I was all gung ho about buying the full collection after reading the descriptions online of these being the uncut original presentations. But then I looked on youtube for some details and saw that people were warning of the cut condition of these films. I double checked here on Amazon and I see that it's a huge issue.

Sorry Warner, but I'm not going to spend my hard earned money to buy a DVD so I can call some 1-800 number to replace a disc. You screwed up and you're going to have to fix it by issuing brand new sets with new art or a sticker on the box indicating the new pressings so I know that I'm buying the unedited versions. Until I know all of the bad ones are off the market, I'm not going to invest in these, and I suggest everyone else take that same approach.

We were looking for one particular episode of Tom and Jerry and was delighted to find it but enjoyed the whole collection. We enjoy it and our children and grandchildren do too.

These are edited and cut. I had to call the 800 number to get the replacement disc.

Warner Brothers offers an 800 number (see other reviews)so you can get the unedited version. If not for this I would have given this collection maybe 1 star.

The cartoons are fantastic and this volume showcase the best ones for the most part. They could have done better restoring them as I have seen much better jobs done on other collections.

If you get this collection call Warner to get the copy that they promised.

I've read & REread the Reviews. My Husband had a gift card from another place & he decided to get these. To be Honest: we have'nt seen all the Episodes in here as a few we don't care for. I have to get on my Soapbox as in WHY is Warner claiming Uncut when they are? Our Favorite Animator(Tex Avery) is only available with the 2 Full Droopy DVS & THAT'S a 5 star rating as those ARE UNEDITED! WHY they won't release ALL of Tex's Stuff is inexcusable! If these Honchos are so gung ho about censoring, stereotypes & seeming all is nice & pleasant, then STAMP A WARNING ON THE BOX!!! We PAY to get the full versions so that's what should be included! (Tex is also on the 1st Woody Woodpecker DVD!) See my review! Anyway: there are a few of our faves on here(Johann Mouse/Designs on Jerry/Pecos Pest/Jerry's Cousin). My #1 is Downbeat Bear! WHERE IS IT? WHY can't they list ALL the Episodes? Same with the Loony Tunes Collections? We won't buy(can't afford now) any other "uncut collections" until they mean what they say. So much for "Freedom of Speech"...
