If you have not read this book, you do not know what you are missing. It is a true story of a man dying of ALS disease and how he conquers each fear to the end. Beautifully written because it is straightforward. Nothing fake. Just two guys talking about general topics of life and searching for the answers. I even bought a copy for my mom. Never miss out on a book like this that can give you perspective and teach forgiveness. I loved it. It made me more humble.

Life, as we know it, is becoming too fast these days. Most people have no time to sit and reflect, just to step back and find out what really matters in life.
"Tuesdays with Morrie" is by far, a masterpiece of Mitch Albom. It's about a mentor and his student. Throughout the book..we get to experience anecdotes and aphorisms by Morrie Schwartz, the mentor.
This book is a keepsake.

This book has it all. It will make you cry, laugh, sob really hard! Mitch Albom had a great realationship with his professor and I'm glad he was able to share it. Everyone should read a book like this everyonce in while. You'll love it!
This was the first Mitch Albom book I ever read and it did not disappoint. I was shocked to know this guy whom I've seen on ESPN is one of the better writers I've ever read. It seems as though every single word was perfectly placed in this book. It must have had about 30 edits.
Great story, great writing. Very moving and impressive work of art!
I had heard of this title, but never read it, until my son who was a sophomore in H.S. had to read this book as a classroom assignment. BTW, my son HATES reading! He loved it and kept telling me about this book that he was totally engrossed in..(Surprise!) I quickly purchased my own copy read it and sent it to my Mom who loved it as well and made us both cry!

My mom was passing away in February of 2009 and I began to read this to her even as she lay comatose. After reading the first couple of pages to her, I had to put it down even though I know it's a book she would have loved. The emotion of the time with her and the emotion involved with the book was too much for me. She left us on February 21 and it wasn't until early April that I was able to pick this book up again and really read it. It was a quick read and it really made me think about things. I was so impressed with the book and the lessons that I learned from it that I bought my sons copies of their own. My boys are 6 and 7 and this book is too advanced for them at the moment but when they get older, it's going to be required reading. Not by their teachers but by their mother. This is a book that was passed onto me by my aunt, my mom's sister, and I passed it on to someone else. Get yourself a cup of tea and a box of Kleenex and have a good read.
