I needed books for college and did not have very long to wait. I received my books ordered in a timely manner. I had never ordered anything online and was not sure about how secure this would be but it was totally worth. After I had compared prices with other ways to purchase I realized I found the best deal. I would not hesitate to order books or products this way again if I need anything.

I've got to hand it to Guy Kawasaki. His book has a great title and it's selling very well. He clearly knows marketing.
However, although there are many fine points that he covers in this "start-up manual", it's not quite all that I expected; it's not bad though. Perhaps a more accurate description for this book would be to call it a guide to help some people in certain situations start something.
But that wouldn't sell as many books; and Guy Kawasaki definitely knows how to sell books; he's a smart person, and he's always popping up on Twitter's "ExecTweets" stage, posting his thoughts in a constant stream of 140 character or less posts. Was I irritated at first? Oh, yeah.
However, after realizing his strategy is quite effective, I've developed a great deal of respect for the Guy; his persistent approach to marketing is very effective, and his book is a good resource; not great, but well scripted and satisfactory for a skeptical fellow Twitter-er, lau56.

Kawasaki does offer a framework for those seeking funding, but other than that, it offers very little for real boot-strapped start-ups seeking to innovate.
As an aside, the reader is left wondering if Kawaski made his fortune from writing books about making money, rather than really having a method. And if he did have a real method, he's not sharing it here because I didn't learn much from reading this book.
