I bought this book when it came out, and to this day it remains the most life-changing book I've ever read.
The authors give you a miniature medical degree, using basic facts found in standard medical texts to arrive at logically inescapable conclusions that make complete sense and echo what you see with your own eyes, on your own blood tests and on your own bathroom scale.
Your health will improve, you'll feel better in many different ways, and you'll not only be able to tell people what you're doing, but why---which is infinitely more valuable.
If you have a logical mind and want bedrock truth once and for all, you will be overjoyed to have finally found it.
"Outstanding diet book for diabetes and other health issues"
Following the advice in this book changed my health for the better. I've been able to control diabetes and lower cholesterol and triglicerides. I find this diet to be healthy and one that I can maintain as a lifelong style of eating. It includes enough variety for me to feel satisfied, and I feel it's healthier than some of the other low carb diets out there. br /br /My wife eats according to the guidelines of this book as well. She is dealing with a number of health issues, and this diet has clearly made a difference. br /br /The book is easy to understand, and it makes the eating plan easy to follow. I recommend this book all the time. br /br /
This book is for everyone, is has 3 different programs for different dedication levels of paleo...Well written with lots of science backing it up, I've read tons of books on nutrition and this along with Dr. Cordains books are my favs.
