First, you'll note that the age range on this product says 9 - 12. That's probably accurate, though I know a lot of you will be giving this to younger children. That's fine, but be aware that they'll need more help punching out the dolls and clothes and using the stickers. (Once you get them set up, though, they should be good to go.)

Second, the fact of the matter is that the storage in the back of the book is woefully inadequate for the dolls and clothes. It's cute, but no more than that. Just invest in a few ziplocs and call it a day.

Otherwise, I find these open ended paper dolls to be a good investment. They occupy kids for a long time, there are a lot of options, and they're fairly sturdy. Plus - no tabs and no cutting! W00t! The range of skin and hair colors is a bonus.

After first ordering one Fabulous Book of Papaer Dolls (Klutz) to use for a mother-daughter banquet, friends have been asking me to order this for them. This is a perfect gift for young girls, and even we adults enjoy it. The dolls, clothes and accessories are easily punched out, and the stickers which attach the items to the dolls are reuseable and neat.

We got these as a gift for my daughter's 5th birthday, and she's barely put them down since. These are great little dolls! So many clothes and accessories that they never get old. After I helped a bit with the glue dots, she's been able to play independently for hours, only getting up for dinner. My only issue is the storage for clothes, etc gets full quickly, but we simply put them in baggies. Highly recommended for the 4-6 crowd!

I bought this for the 4th birthday of my granddaughter and amidst opening all her other presents, when she got to this one, she immediately began to use it. It's well constructed and she had no trouble getting the items "popped" out. She and her 6 year old sister played with the dolls for two days straight. It's a far cry from the old "tab" paper dolls I had when I was a kid. I heartily recommend this as a saner alternative to the Barbie doll.

My three year old sat still for hours when I introduced her to this. She could even punch out the clothes herself. She needs help with applying the stickie's for making them stick. But she used this on two cross country plane rides, and would settle down and play with them on the trip. I can't recommend this enough.

This has been my 3 year old granddaughter's favorite thing to do with Grammie. At first she picked out the doll and clothes to use, as I peeled the sticky shapes for her and punched out the clothes. Now that she is almost four, she has mastered peeling the paper off of the sheet to get the sticky shapes of her choice and we now take turns picking out a doll to dress and selecting an outfit, but we always work together. It is so very relaxing getting involved in this activity with her. We love sorting through the many pages of options that this wonderful book has to offer.
