"Worked well enough for two years but then..."

This served me well for two years. It transmitted the info through bricks, glass and metal over a distance of 50 feet for about two years until the batteries needed replacement in the exterior unit. After that problems mounted, performance became spotty and I finally threw it away after three and a half years. Never did like having to unscrew four tiny screws just to change the batteries in the outside unit. This by itself is poor design. Not worth price and frustration for just two years of good service.
"This guage works!"

I've owned this guage for several years till my grandson knocked it off the deck onto the concrete. It is simple, but it works, and is very accurate. After looking at all the other choices out there, I went back to this one because I know it works. Just attach it to something,so curious grandkids can't get to it.
"Mine works!"

In light of the reviews on this site, I was not optimistic about this gauge, but it has worked beautifully for 3+ years. The two parts of the gauge are admittedly not very far apart, but it responds accurately, and is easy to read and reset. Even though the instructions suggest taking it in during freezing weather, I have left it out. It measured melting ice and snow very nicely. I'm sorry to hear of so many disappointed customers on this site, but I won't hesitate to buy another one of these if mine ever gives up the ghost.
"My Review Wireless Rain Gauge"

I have own my wireless rain gauge for a few years now. The main reason i gave it a 3 star rating is its ability of accuracy. I have a old glass tube rain gauge and during heavy rain it dont read as much as a inch off to the glass tube gauge. It seems to stay ok with lite rainfall. The battery life is about normal for any wireless device.
"A nice little gadget"

I have had this wireless rain gauge for several years now and it has never failed me. I set the collector/transmitter outside on a picnic table on the deck and the receiver on a windowsill in a direct line to each other That is the rule with just about any remote control device. They have to be able to "see" each other. Also, you have to keep the batteries fresh for it to work properly, but again, that is true for many battery-powered devices. I keep the alarm set to "on" and it has never failed to beep after a measurable amount of rain has fallen. I check the battery indicator every so often to see if the batteries need to be changed. I like gadgets -- I also have a wireless thermometer outside the house and you have to watch the batteries on that as well -- and this rain gauge is one of my favorites.
