"Great Shaver, Manual Too Simple"

I'm a mechanical engineer in his 40's. Have owned Norelco and Remington shavers previously. Neither satisfied, partly due to need to purchase new blades at high prices. For the Remington Titanium (the 400, I think), replacement blades were recommended at 6 months, but you can't buy them anywhere! And, it needs them. I am very happy with the Braun. As I read in many reviews (thanks for writing!), it is much more comfortable than the Remington. It still takes some work to get into the spots on the left and right sides of my neck, but it DOES work better than the Remington ever did. As to the manual - it's very simple. Too simple. It says to charge for 4 hours, but doesn't say if you can leave it plugged into the charger overnight. Would that be OK or would it damage it? Yes, it does have a quick charge. I have been using the razor for over a week, and I'm still on the first charge. Also, the manual says there are two ways to clean it: wash it OR brush, then oil. Why don't you have to oil it after washing it? Seems to me that washing would degrease it more than brushing would. But, the manual is too short to address this. Tried to submit an email to Braun from their web site, but I could not get it to work. I'm very good at computers, so I'm sure it's some problem with their site. I called & somebody answered and talked to me, but they were not able to answer my technical questions. They just told me what it says in the manual. That was a dead end. Still, it's a great shaver. Also, know that the series 370 is the same as the Contour 5885 and some others. If you search long enough on the Braun web site, you can figure this out. I mention this because I ordered a 370 and received the other one.
The Braun Series 3 370 Men's shaver is an excellent shaver, as is the case with most Braun products.
It gives the closet, most comfortable shave that you can get with an electric shaver. I would recommend
the Braun shaver to anyone who must have an electric shaver.

I have been a rotory razor fan for years but when my Norelco finally went after making numerous repairs (batteries, switch, etc), I tried this product. After the first shave I was very happy but the more I use it the more I say "excellent". The price also compared to the Norelco is much more reasonable. It is designed very well and easy to clean. Highly recommended!

I love Braun shaver better than other brands. Just weak points is, this style is same as my old one. few design points are upgraded. Whatever it is OK for both quality and price.

For the money, I was expecting a very good shaver! What I got was a very expensive lesson. The shaver was very quiet and comfortable in the hand but lousy for getting a close shave. After repeated passes over my beard, I still had stubble's. I took my travel shaver ($15.00 at Walgreen's) and completed the shave leaving a smooth, stubble-less feel. Don't spend the money on this shaver.
