The first problem is that I finally have time to put the thing up and when I read the instructions, I quickly found that the most important item for assembly is NOT INCLUDED. I had to get 6 lag bolts before even assembling the thing. Of course it was late and the hardware store was closed - very frustrating. The bag is a little big and comes off the swivel attachment every once and a while - also frustrating. For the price it was a good value and beginners will enjoy it. For more advanced boxers, spend a little more and upgrade all parts.
Skipping rope is garbage - way too lightweight. Wraps are not flexible and too short. Bag gloves are unnecessary. |

| This is a good deal for the price. But when it comes to tools and gym equipment, better quality is always best! This is acceptable but not great! |

The 6 piece set was more than I actuallly needed, but I didn't know where I was going to mount the speed bag and so I got the whole kit. The speed bag is really good quality and the swivel is better than I thought it was going to be. It is nice to have both the wrap and the gloves if you are a beginner because you may find that one suits you better than the other. I did not end up using the platform but the frame leads me to believe that it is very sturdy. The jump rope, ah, the jump rope is a nice touch and it is nice to have, but i's nothing special.
If you are looking for a fun and challenging arm workout the speed bag is a lot of fun to learn. It is not about punching something as hard as you can it is about controlling your punch. I like it, it's fun and it's a really good outlet on very bad days.

| I can't vouch for anything about assembling or using this item. But, when I checked the order to see if it was correct, the bag that was supposed to be black leather was instead a weird rubbery red bag. I thought I was paying this high price because there was a leather one included. I contacted Amazon and they were extremely helpful: Told me to send it back in and they'd send another one express shipping. I received the other one, and it turned out to be the same type of bag. So, I haven't checked the page to see if it has changed, but I wanted to let people know what they are going to be ordering if they decide to buy this product. |

This is a great value for the beginning boxer in your house. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the swivel that it comes packaged with. The one that's included is the most basic plastic swivel you can buy and after a few rounds of hitting the bag it would come unscrewed and end up getting punched across the room. I purchased the next step up in Everlast swivels for about $20 and the difference was instantly noticeable. Faster rebounds and a much more secure mount. You may also want to upgrade to a smaller bag after you get used to the one packaged with this kit. Oh, and one more thing, the kit comes with no lag bolts to mount it to a wall. I picked up 4 from the local hardware store for a few dollars, but I was surprised they weren't included like they were with the Everlast heavybag I also bought.
For everything you get in this kit, it is well worth the money and a great way to get started in boxing for a good workout or competitive sport. |

| I bought this set (not from Amazon) and did not even get a chance to use it because the support brackets could not be tightened onto the mounting brackets on one side. It was too loose to use. Poor design or manufacturing. I think I'll get a more professional setup. |

This product is a great deal. It may be shipped with a vinyl speed bag even though it says leather. My package shipped with one mounting bracket and a chipped particle board. BUT IF THAT DOESNT HAPPEN TO YOU AND YOU RECIEVE WHAT IT SHOWS IN THE PIC, YOURE GETTIN A great DEAL.!!!

| I bought one of these, got it mounted, no trouble. I enjoy every minute of working out with the equipment. However, the platform is made of particle board - mine broke in half this morning after about 3 weeks of use. So if you're like me and tend to lay into your speed bag, be prepared to replace the platform with a piece of solid wood. |

| This boxing set is a good value compared to if I would have bought each item separately. However, you only really need the boxing bag, gloves and that spinning thing to attach it to the ceiling. That other piece of equipment that you mount on the wall is very large and was not really that useful to us. Maybe it would be to someone else, but you can just use that spinning thing and mount it to a beam and use the boxing bag that way. That other mounting wall bracket is heavy and takes up too much room. But I bought this whole set anyway because it was cheaper to buy all this together than to buy it separately.. and it's good exercise! |

| After 1 week of learning on this bag. It was way too slow even inflated as much as i dare. I replaced the bag and had no problems with the higher quality bag but, after two days the swivel broke. I would recomend buy a high quality bag and swivel or set if you plan on using it for anything more than decoration. |
