"Yes it works in XP64!"

I recently rearranged my home furniture and my main computer was now in a room not served by my cable internet. Not wanting to rewire just yet, I searched for a net work card that would work on my XP64 pro computer without a lot of driver and code line additions. The MSI card worked first time reboot and delivered a good through put speed connection. I used the software that came with the unit, although there are drivers available from the cards manufacturer. Do a google search here if you think that route would be better.
Pro's easy install, easy to navigate interface, it found my network on the first pass, I use wpa2 and after I entered my password I was on the net. Its fast enough for me I don't see any lagging. Its easy to reconnect if you reboot or whatever. And YES it works with Microsoft XP64, getting tired of going so much extra distance for drivers and hardware for this software, but that another story. Cons, I wish the external antenna cable was longer, its about 16 inches long, a full meter would be better, or at least have a choice available from MSI.
Bottom line a bargain on Amazon and it works.
Thanks

Great little gadget - small, simple, inexpensive, and works very well. What more can you ask.
I purchased the PAP2 in 2006 when I started with Vonage and its been rock solid ever since. I have a great broadband provider so that's probably a help but I have to say that its been extremely stable since installing it. I had some trouble in the beginning but I also live in a new development where construction was going strong and brown-outs were a common thing. Bottom line, I've had little to no trouble with this and the voice quality is superb!
"Buyer Beware"

Buyer beware. This equipment does not work properly. I bought a Linksys WAG160N so I could connect a new laptop by wireless. Needing a VoIP phone adapter to work with the modem I called Linksys to ask what I should do. They recommended a Linksys PAP2T adapter which I also bought. 1. The wireless internet connection fails frequently and constantly needs rebooting. I might just as well sit at the wired desktop. 2. The VoIP adapter normally does not work. Linksys tell me there is a known problem between the PAP2T and the WAG160N. It's sad that they didn't tell me this when I asked what to buy. 3. The WAG160N falls over every time I launch my P2P torrent program. Within two minutes the internet fails followed by the DSL line. It has never worked properly. Apparently this is also a known issue with this equipment. I have spent many hours with Linksys help trying to fix these issues, including firmware upgrades and much stuffing around. I have reached the point where I simply want my money back so I can buy other equipment that works.
I have used this Vonage adapter for over 3 years, both in traveling and at my house in Mexico. It has worked great and I really don't understand the negative reviews except to say that the people writing them probably had no idea of what they were doing or they have other motives than to inform for what they write.
Vonage is a great money and time saver the way I use it in Mexico. I have even chosen it over local land line phones here because it's cheaper to use calling within Mexico than is Telmex, the local phone company.
You do need to have a good high speed internet connection for it to work reliably. Set up is basic and any grade school kid could do it. There is no maintenance involved in its use. If the power or internet goes out (as they frequently do here in Mexico) the adapter resets itself.
I also use Skype for video calls to the kids, but Vonage is, by far, the best choice for a "regular" phone here.
