works fine from get go..most ppl say youd have to work ya dpad/buttons to comfortable level..didnt have to :D, works wid pretty much most emulators...havent been able to test on psx tho..gotta overhaul this slug of a pc, thinkin of this fall :), nice design, no bad things so far, only bad thing is if you count a system restore n havin to reinstall ya software...

I got this controller to use it with the orange box games. Well, portal didn't id the controller keys and half-life has too many orders to put on the controllers.

Rumblepad 2 Gamepad PC Excellent gamepad to use with Lego Star Wars2: The Original Trilogy and Star Wars LEGO 1:The Video Game. Identical with the XBOX 360 version except it does not have the lights to indicate if you are player 1 or 2. Also, the PC version of these games does not provide vibration feedback, so the Dual Action Controller is less expensive and is identical to the Rubmblepad without the vibration. Both games will suport two controllers and require remapping the keyboard controls to the gamepad which is very easy to accomplish (assuming you know which buttons are used on the XBOX version). One drawback is that the PC version uses the same button for start and pause, where the XBOX version uses separate buttons. (The logitech has both buttons, but the software restricts the mapping to the same button).

this thang roxxors. you can program the buttons to do anything you want them to with the logitech profiler software. it's really super great. i haven't had any problems with anything, and i got a refurb!

Could not get used to the too sensitive joystick for aiming in FPS, but was able to use the pad for movement and buttons for exchanging weapons etc while using the mouse in the other hand for aiming. Did not check the rumble feature due to the fact my games (Halo 2 , Half Life 2, Doom 3) are too old to have this interface in them.

I bought this gamepad for $20 at gamestop, I'd recommend you buy it there, rather than pay more on amazon. Basically, I bought it, plugged it in and started playing immediately--no downloads, installation or anything else. I bought this so I can play Madden 08 on my Macbook Pro. I'm running the PC version in bootcamp and it's seamless. I'd recommend this pad for anyone who wants to use a pad instead of the keyboard for games. If you're used to the PS2/3 then, it takes no getting used to. It's exactly the same. Great buy!
