I took a liking of Christian Hard Rock back when this came out. Even though I'm an agnostic, I still think that the songs on this album do the trick of making the crowd go wild. Pillar is quite possibly one of the greatest Christian Hard Rock bands of this generation. The songs, ranging from wild & heavy to soft & mellow, show that these musicians know how to make some great music. My favorite songs here are "Bring Me Down," "Simply," and "Rewind." "Rewind" is my top favorite, because it has a very beautiful melody.
This is actually 4-and-a-half stars out of 5, mainly because the songs "Holding On" and "Dirty Little Secret" aren't as good as the other songs on Where Do We Go From Here.

This is the last album where Pillar's guitars are distorted enough to sound like they could blow up your house if you made them loud enough. It is probably one of the most stacked albums I've ever heard - I think "Rewind" is the only one of the first seven tracks that isn't great. It's really hard to make every song as good as the openers, but the rest of the album is at least competent. "Dirty Little Secret"'s guitar solo helps, are the last six tracks are fairly good. So this album is basically divided in half - good and great. It puts most modern hard rock bands to shame, and it deserves radio play more than most. But perhaps that's what will keep Pillar a band worth listening to - they won't become too popular for their own good.
I'll admit, after "For The Love of the Game" I sort ofwrote off Pillar. In my humble opinion FTLOTG was a semi-poor excuse for a modern rock album. First of all, it was very short (like 10 songs) the songs were mostly rip offs of other bands (this was even intentional on "Turn it Up") and on top of all that, the lyrics were a little shallow (dime a dozen type stuff.) It was an OK album, but nothing to the modern fasionings of "Red" and "Thousand Foot Krutch."
Boy was I wrong about Pillar. I happened to be in a local F.Y.E. and decided to take a risk and back pedal with my Pillar collection to "Where do We Go From Here." I stuck it in with lots of doubts, but pulled it out with none of them. This CD is 100% genuine, hard rocking, Christ worshiping art. If you are a Christian, a fan of great rock, or just an avid music listener, I highly reccomend picking this CD up.

This was a very great album from pillar with unique songs and awsome guitars playing. Pillars song frontline was a major hit on this album witch i really thought was awsome but all these songs were great, this was a great album from them.

I'm not Christian, in fact I don't believe in religion, but this is a very good album, with some catchy songs, good lyrics and musically good. A couple of songs I skip, but otherwise great.

Pillar is back and now more rock then rap. They blow it away with more guitar and drum sounds and the production of this album is far superior to their previous albums. Pillar has matured in this album and with that comes a solid sounding album with well thought out vocals and instrumentals. They still have the talent of those awesome hooks that keep you singing along to every song. Awesome album that will leave you hypnotized.
