I purchased this because I sometimes like to take a family pictures so, I have to be included, or if you want to take a picture of you and a group of friends on vacation or a little get togeather. It is also good for just setting back and catching friends at there best. The only down side is you have to be all most in front of the camera, or just sightly to one side. But it is fun to use and is a must for your camera bag.

I love the design of it, it's very easy to set up with my D5000 and as long
as you set your camera to receive signal for several minutes you'll be ok.

The only thing that im not crazy about is the range or maybe the signal strength,
because it can sometimes work at long distances like 10ft, but sometime it wont
work at short distances like 4ft, but i think it has to to with interferences.

Asides from that, I think everything about it is great.

Works perfectly, I own a nikon d60 and the remote works every time, without fail, some photographers pay lots of money for their remotes, but this was a great way to spend $20

The remote works great for self or family portraits, but if you wait too long between shots, the camera reverts back to its regular mode and you have to reset it for the remote to work. All in all, I love the convenience and ease of use.

I use this with my D60 and within a few seconds I had things working great. Turned the camera to accept the remote and I was away. I have not had an issue yet with distance. I plan to use it more and more for the "family" pictures. Also looking at doing some stop motion. No longer I fall to the touching and slight shifting of the camera. The remote takes care of it.
