It works fine. My radio antenna is in the rear of the car but the monster still transmits strong enough to connect. The set up is not exactly straight forward. It took a little doing and reading the instructions again to get it set up, but once set up it works very well. We would buy it again or recommend it. The price was definitely right. Very inexpensive compared to some other options for IPOD car players.

Purchased the Monster Radioplay FM transmitter yesterday, and so far I am extremely pleased. Very simple to use, and I have no complaints about the sound quality. Works fine with my Sansa Express MP3 player and my Blackberry Curve which I use to stream Pandora.

Purchased my Monster Cable RadioPlay at Bestbuy in 2006 after I purchased a brand new Ipod. Immediately I was impressed with how simple it was and how the connection and sound quality transmitted. Since I am in my car a lot, I was definitely glad it also charged my Ipod.
Within 3 months of having it, it stopped charging my Ipod. It still works three years later, plays music great but won't charge my ipod. I had tried to return it to BestBuy, contacted the manufacturer and they suggested I purchase a new one and offered to mail me a 15% off coupon. Wow.. crock of...
Either way, if you're looking for a dependable car adapter this would be it, just don't forget to charge it before you leave, or expect to use your ipod over a road trip without bringing a wall charger or a laptop to plug the feckin thing in. :(

This does what its made to do, sometimes its tough finding a clear radio station. If you're going on a trip then I suggest getting something that doesn't need the radio to play. What was nice it that I can use it with my computer to play movies over the car speakers.

I am really satisfied with this product. Fits well in my car and so easy to setup. Sound quality is good. Shipping was promised in 3-5 days but it took some 8 days to reach me.

After the Cd player in my car kicked the bucket I was lost without having my music. I never really gave much thought of an FM transmitter until this happened. So I got on and read the reviews. Some were good and some were bad, so i was a little weary of buying one. After three days of looking I took the plunge and bought the Monster. The shipping was fast, which was surprising. I plugged it in to my car found the FM station and it worked great, also Surprising! I live in Western PA and travel about 40 miles back and fourth to school every day and haven't once had to change the station because of interfering signal. There hasn't been a single problem with it yet. So if there is anyone out there just wanting to here their music in the car I would highly recommended buying the Monster.
